They met 13 years ago and have been married for 10, bringing two daughters into the world along the way. This is proof that love at first sight exists.
Best known as Wonder Woman or Gisele from the Fast and Furious franchise, Gal Gadot is undoubtedly a beautiful and talented actress.
But it's her love story with her husband of more than a decade that will have you truly entranced. The way she met and fell in love with her husband, Yaron Versano, an Israeli businessman, is so pure that it will have you wishing for your own such love story.
According to Glamour Magazine, the pair first laid eyes on each other while they were at a party in an Israeli desert.
"We met nearly 10 years ago through mutual friends at this very strange party in the Israeli desert. It was all about yoga, chakras, and eating healthy — we didn't exactly find ourselves there, but we found each other," she said in 2016. And when the sparks started flying, they knew they were the one for each other, even if it took the actress a little longer to get it.
When asked if she knew that he was the one right away, she replied, "I think I did, but I was too young to get it. He did! He's 10 years older than me. He told me on our second date he was serious and wasn't going to wait more than two years to ask me to marry him. Fast-forward two years; he proposed. We were married in 2008." Continuing, she said, "Oh, he's the best man. [Knocks on wood.]"
Soon enough, the two of them had their first child together, Alma, born in 2012 before bringing another daughter, Maya in 2017, into the world, according to Screen Rant.
The couple is now approaching their 11th wedding anniversary and they look just as happy as they were when they first got together. The secret? Gal said, "Both of us said, 'No games. Let's just be honest and keep it simple.' I wouldn't be able to do what I do without him. Family still has to be the first priority. I have to do what's good for my child." But that's not the only agreement they have that has kept the respect and love for each other alive.
"I think that Yaron and I make a really good team. I understand his career and he understands mine. We help each other progress in all areas of life. We're both very career-driven," Gal explained, according to Women's Health Magazine. And he was the one who convinced her that being a working, traveling mother was worth it, especially since both of them racked up frequent flier miles going between California and Israel.
"When Alma was around two, I was really anxious about how to travel with a child, moving her from one country to the other, all the different languages," the 34-year-old actress explained in her interview with Glamour. "It was my husband who told me, 'Gal, think about what kind of a role model you want to be. If you want to show Alma that she can follow her dreams, that's what you should do, and we will figure out the logistics,'" she said. This kind of support only proved to her that she made the right choice to be with her husband.
And you cannot miss the love they have for each other especially when both of them are quite vocal about it on social media. Constantly posting cute pictures of each other together has Gal's fans swooning, their love and passion for each other visible to everyone.
“10 years have gone by, yet it feels like yesterday we first met…My heart will forever beat to the sound of our love ❤ Gal Gadot Varsano," Yaron said in a post on Instagram. Well, their love certainly has our heart beating to that sound as well.
