Calista Flockhart, 58, raced in for a hearty hug after the ceremony as the 80-year-old Harrison Ford proudly wrapped his arm around Liam.
Liam Flockhart graduated from Amherst College on May 28, and proud parents Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart were beaming with pride. The stunning duo was photographed at the renowned Massachusetts university appearing overjoyed to be a part of the 22-year-old graduate's special day, per Hello! Magazine. The Ally McBeal alum, 58, raced in for a hearty hug after the ceremony as the 80-year-old Ford proudly wrapped his arm around Liam.
The new college graduate is Harrison's youngest child. In addition to Liam, the three-times married Star Wars star has four children, Ben, Willard, Malcolm, and Georgia, with Mary Marquardt and Melissa Mathison, his first and second wives. Flockhart adopted Liam a year before she met Ford, per Hollywood Life.

The star has always loved grand gestures for his family. In 2020, Ford provided Liam with a chic start at college. The pilot flew his own plane to transport the couple's son to his liberal arts institution at the beginning of the fall term, per PEOPLE.
Flying is a passion the whole family shares. "Calista loves to fly, and I'm thrilled because it's so important to me and it's the kind of thing that's so much more fun with somebody who really enjoys it," Ford told PEOPLE in 2003. "Liam loves to fly. Calista likes the process, she likes what she sees from the air, she likes seeing me happy. I think a lot of it has to do with that she loves to see me doing something that I love."

But it goes beyond flying, Ford actually really loved a second go at parenting. Ford praised Flockhart's parenting skills in a Reader's Digest interview, calling her "the best mother in the world," according to PEOPLE. The Indiana Jones actor expressed his gratitude to Flockhart for giving him the opportunity to raise her baby. Ford, who adores being Liam's father, decided to adopt him in 2001 formally. He remarked, "She's brought a child back into my home," attributing this to his wife for allowing him to try parenting again at a "bit more mature" age.
Ford loves spending time with his small family on vacation, parenting Liam, and taking him to casual basketball games. He is a devoted parent, and Flockhart recognizes that. In an interview with Closer Weekly, Calista praised Ford. “Harrison is a wonderful parent,” Calista said of Ford. “He’s funny and warm and loving.”
"My youngest, other than Liam, is 17. It's a wonderful opportunity to be part of a child's growing up, which is always an endless springtime. You see the blossoming and the growing and the nurturing and the payoff," Ford shared.
