The owner of the cow was so heartbroken to see Rookie cry all day that he decided to bring his mother back to her again.

The beauties and bounties of nature have inspired us every time we get a chance to witness them in their truest forms. Animals are not only one of the most beautiful creations of God but also the most genuine ones. They cannot fake love, nor do they cause harm unless provoked. We have seen some unique pairs of animals being friendly with one another. But this inseparable pair of a mama cow and a puppy will steal your heart.
Rookie the puppy's mother died shortly after giving birth to him and he was taken in by a farmer couple. He not only got a new home but also a loving mother in the form of a brown cow who has been raising and taking care of the orphaned pup ever since he was brought in. For two years, they lived, ate, played, and slept side by side in the farmer’s barn. Rookie followed the cow everywhere, sleeping on her back and taking shelter between her legs whenever he was scared or needed comforting.
The farmer couple was kind and compassionate towards animals and had a variety of them on their farm. However, in an unfortunate turn of events, he decided to sell the mama cow to another farmer who lived nearby because it became too much for him to take care of his two cows. They were facing a severe economic crisis and selling the cow would fetch them the money they needed and also reduce the cost of feeding her.
They did know how much Rookie and the cow loved each other. It was a tough and heartbreaking decision for them but they did not really have an option because they needed the money immediately to cater to their needs.
The separation from his mama left Rookie heartbroken and she yelped in pain. She roamed around restlessly, looking for her mother and crying constantly. She stopped eating and once, even ran off to her mama's new stall detecting her smell and hearing her voice as she mooed. They were delighted to see each other and their love was undeniable.
This melted the farmer's heart and he couldn't let Rookie suffer through the pain of separation from her mother. He decided to buy back the mama cow even if it meant going through financial tension.
Rookie was happier than ever to return home to her mama. Not only does he spend all day with her but he is also in no mood to make new friends. Although the vet believes that he should make friends of his own kind, nothing can deny that the cow is his mother and no one could replace her.
