In the months following the catastrophe on the New Mexico set of Rust on October 21, 2021, Hilaria, who wed Baldwin, 64, in 2012, has stood by her husband. Baldwin and Rust armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed will face two federal counts of involuntary manslaughter for the murder of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the Rust set, according to New Mexico authorities, per New York Post. In October 2021, after Reed had loaded the gun, the Motherless Brooklyn actor allegedly shot and murdered Hutchins as he was getting ready to shoot a scene on the set in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The accusation against Alec, according to his counsel, was “a terrible miscarriage of justice,” and Alec has insisted on numerous occasions that Hutchins' death was not his fault, per PEOPLE. "Mr. Baldwin had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the gun — or anywhere on the movie set," Baldwin's attorney Luke Nikas of Quinn Emanuel said, adding, "We will fight these charges".

In an interview, Hilaria Baldwin discussed the “emotional time” her family has been going through. The former yoga instructor somberly discussed how she would have “crumbled” without the support she's received, in the opening moments of this week's edition of her new podcast, Witches Anonymous, per PageSix. “It’s been an emotional time for my family and I do so want to express to you how grateful I am for your support and your kindness and your reason,” she shared.

“Quite honestly, I think without it, we would crumble, so thank you so much for being our rock right now because I don’t feel so strong,” she said,

Earlier, Boston-born Hilaria retaliated against the media for following her husband while they were home with seven children.“On a human level, you guys know I’m not going to say anything to you. You know that. So please leave my family in peace and let this all play out. OK?” the 39-year-old Hilaria, with her newborn strapped to her chest, told the gathered journalists.
