Her husband Philip Schneider gave thoughtful gifts to the first-time mother to celebrate this precious day.
Hilary Swank celebrated her first Mother's Day, one month after becoming a first-time mom to a beautiful pair of twins, and her husband Philip Schneider gave her amazingly thoughtful gifts.
The P.S. I Love You star uploaded a photo on her Instagram story of an engraved charm that read, "Mama" from Charmco in New York and revealed that it also has her birthstone inside, per PEOPLE. She was heard saying in the story, "Happy Mama's Day! Happy Mother's Day everyone!"
It appears that Schneider got her gifts custom-made, reports Hello! Magazine. Another video displayed a brown jewelry box, a handwritten message, and a cluster of daffodils in a transparent vase on the couple's wooden kitchen table.
The couple appeared to have decided to spend the day at home with their infant children, taking pleasure in the beautiful new-parent bubble. The actress revealed that the charm was vintage and that her birthstone had been added as a personalized order.
The actress announced the arrival of her twins on April 9. Swank published a photo on Instagram announcing the happy news. "It wasn't easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it. 👼🏼🤍👼🏼," the Alaska Daily actress wrote beside a picture of herself staring out at a sunset while holding her newborn children on each shoulder.
Swank shared the news of her pregnancy and the impending arrival of twins on Good Morning America in October 2022. "I'm so happy to share it with you and with America right now, and this is something that I've been wanting for a long time now. My next thing is I'm going to be a mom," she announced, adding, "And not just of one, but of two."
She explained to Extra why she postponed having children till she was 48 years old. "I was having a career and not having the right relationship until … four years ago, and all the elements needed to come together and be right. It’s just something I thought about even as a young girl. It’s something that was on my mind, so it’s nice to be here and just be pregnant."
Swank additionally made an appearance in January as a guest on The Late Late Show with James Corden, where she discussed how being pregnant with twins had left her in awe of the miracle of pregnancy. "I feel like women are superheroes," the actress said. "What do our bodies do? I have such, like, a whole newfound respect. I mean, I love women, I've always loved women, but now, I'm like, 'Wow, we can do this!'"
