Jimmy Kimmel's globally hit talk show has seen some very amusing and unique celebrity moments over the years. Living up to the standards that it has set, one of the most heartwarming episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live! saw radio host Howard Stern, 65, make an impromptu remarriage proposal to his wife of 11 years.

On the show, he narrated an incident that involved the couple and Kimmel, saying that he has been trying to remarry his long-term partner Beth Stern but she keeps avoiding it as she thinks that it is not auspicious to get married again.

"I'm talking to Jimmy and I said, 'You know, it's embarrassing but I have asked my wife to remarry me,'" Stern, 65, shared with the live audience. "We got married 11 years ago, but we've been together like 20-something years."

He continued, "I said to Jimmy, 'Watch this, I'm gonna say to my wife I want to marry you, I wanna propose and I'm gonna say remarry me again.' She always says no, because she thinks it's jinxed if you get married again. But I love the proposal!" quotes PEOPLE.

Interestingly, Beth had no idea what was coming for her, neither did the audience. As he was talking, he suddenly asked his wife to come to the fore while he went down on one knee to propose to her again.

"It's so great when I propose to my wife she gets embarrassed," Stern said, before turning to the audience, where Beth was sitting. "Honey come up here, I want to propose."

As Beth Stern, 48, blushingly walked up to the stage, the audience cheered loudly.

Stern then got down on one knee and said the sweetest things one can say while proposing - again - to the love of their life. "Darling, you know you have given me the best years of my life. I love you so much. You do so much for animal rescue. You know how I feel about you."

He added, "I'm gonna say to you now in front of all of my best friends, my sweet love, will you marry me again?"

Amid loud cheers and claps from the audience, Beth smiled and said "Yes!"

Stern first met model and his now-wife Beth Ostrosky in 2000, while he was separated from his first wife. In an interview with AOL, he had narrated how he felt for her two decades ago and how the spark of their romance has never faded ever since.

The two first met on a "rainy, cold night" at a dinner party hosted by mutual friends. Beth was on a blind date with someone else, "and we ended up talking," he said. Destiny had other plans for both of them. As the night passed, she ended up talking to him and later, becoming the most important part of his life. "There was this light around her. She was just glowing," he said, according to AOL.

"Sometimes I'll look at her and think, 'Is this really happening? How could this person love me?'" he said. "I guess that's the definition of a dream girl, and nineteen years in I still feel that way about her."

Stern has three daughters from his first marriage: Emily,  36, Deborah, 33, and Ashley, 26. While Beth and Stern do not have children together, they both feel deeply for the cause of animal rescue and have fostered over 900 cats together.
