"We have similar values and upbringing. Spiritually, we think the same and he has been an incredible stepfather and loves my kids like his own," she shared.
Jaclyn Smith, 77, is arguably best known for her role as Kelly Garrett in Charlie's Angels in 1976, and while the breakthrough role helped her to have an active and successful career, she's also maintained an active romantic life over the years, per Hollywood Life. The actress, who is married to Brad Allen, has been married three times before, but she found real love with Dr. Brad Allen at the age of 51. Jaclyn's husband was actually her father's surgeon and managed to woo the leading lady of TV. "My dad was in the hospital having heart surgery and Brad was the surgeon. My mom didn’t want me walking down to the parking garage alone so he would walk me down. Who would’ve dreamed it could have happened? He’s kind and I saw a purity of heart," Smith told Closer Weekly.
When Smith was asked what the secret to her beautiful marriage is, her answer was rather simple and straightforward. "We have similar values and upbringing. Spiritually, we think the same and he has been an incredible stepfather and loves my kids like his own," she shared.
The actress even shared that she feels that love gets better and better with age. She shared, "I think so. There is a safe feeling that’s hard to compare to anything else. Just being a true partner, and that person having your back. I feel very loved and protected."
The Charlie's Angels actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002. Fortunately, the actress quickly recovered through lumpectomy and chemo, but she was especially grateful for her partner's support. She shared, "Thank goodness I was diligent with my mammograms and caught it early, but I still get checked regularly," she shared.
After more than 20 years together, Jaclyn Smith and her husband, Brad Allen, are constantly looking for ways to spice up their marriage — and gym routine. In December 2022, the "Charlies Angles" star headed to Instagram to offer a video of their favorite PDA-packed exercises, per PageSix. “We decided to turn it up a notch with our workouts!” the 77-year-old captioned a video of her straddling the doctor while doing crunches. “It’s hard to stay motivated to work out during the holiday season but Brad and I have found a way to have a few laughs while also getting a workout done!” she added alongside another clip

Despite her efforts to remain modest about her remarkable features, the actress shared once about getting the perfect picture, “Right place, right time. That’s the luck of the draw. Great lighting. I’m with a person that I adore, my son, and it was a going-away party, so my eyes were probably glistening with tears there, sparkling because he’s one of the humans I worship.”
