Daughters Corinne Foxx and Anelise Bishop were seen visiting Foxx in the hospital.
Jamie Foxx is currently getting physical therapy in Chicago after being hospitalized in Atlanta last month. In pictures acquired by TMZ, members of Foxx's family, including daughters Corinne Foxx and Anelise Bishop, were spotted visiting Foxx in the hospital where he is receiving physical therapy and ongoing care, reported ET Online. On April 12, news of Foxx's hospitalization in Atlanta for an unspecified medical issue initially appeared. And it wasn't until May 3 that Foxx finally broke his silence, thanking everyone who had supported him while he was in the hospital on his Instagram account.
His present status and the reason for his medical emergency are yet unknown. The institution where Foxx is receiving care, according to TMZ, specializes in rehabilitation for those who have experienced a stroke, spinal damage, and traumatic brain injury. The outlet also claims that Foxx has been working at this facility since late April, per a source. Foxx's daughter, Corinne, provided a significant update about her father last Friday, May 12, amid recent widespread speculation about his health. She also slammed numerous reports that claimed Foxx's loved ones were preparing for the worst by sharing an update from the family.
The post reads, "Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support!" Kevin Hart gave a positive report on the Impaulsive podcast on May 4. The Die Hart 2: Die Harter star responded when questioned about Foxx's health that he understood why his family wanted to keep details "tight" because he knew his pal to be a private guy. "I think the dope thing is that he's getting better in his situation, and everybody's prayers, everybody's love, energy, all that stuff is seen and felt," he shared.
"I don't know the details or the exact details as to what's going on, but to my knowledge, there's a lot of progression and a world of better. My love, synergy goes out to him. He's needed, he's necessary and I know he knows that. I know that he feels that because there's been an outcry and outpour of support and I can only hope that it continues," he added. Jamie Foxx had been until recently filming for his forthcoming action-comedy Back in Action in Atlanta which also stars Glenn Close and Cameron Diaz.
A week after he posted an Instagram video of himself on a big yacht, Jamie Foxx was reported to be having health issues. After getting better and receiving heartfelt messages for his well-being, The Django Unchained actor shared a post on his Instagram account thanking all the well-wishers. “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” read the post. Actor Halle Berry commented on the post saying, “Love you, Jamie.” While other stars and celebrities like Rappers DJ Khaled and Ludacris expressed with emojis that they were praying for the Just Mercy star.
