Jamie Foxx has the unwavering support of his loved ones, as he begins his road to rehabilitation. Corinne Foxx, the actor's daughter, and Dave Brown, one of his close friends, recently paid the Oscar-winning actor a visit at the Chicago, Illinois, physical rehabilitation center where he is recuperating, as per ET Online. Corrine was raised by Jamie as a single father and she now stays by his side as he is dealing with his health emergencies.

Corinne has felt her father has been an "A-plus" dad towards her and that's all that matters. She said that he thinks the world of them, and they can always feel it. "And that's really powerful for a young girl to grow up and have such a strong father figure in her life," she once said in an interview on CBS This Morning: Saturday in 2021.

The 55-year-old was sent to the hospital on April 11 in Atlanta, Georgia, following which Corinne in a now-deleted Instagram post said that her father had experienced an unspecified "medical complication." Jamie finally spoke up on May 3 by posting a message on his Instagram and thanking his followers for their support. “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” read the post. However, no other details on his true health condition or recovery were made public in the weeks that followed. Corinne finally broke her silence and provided an update on her father's progress after weeks of internet speculation and a notion that the family was preparing for the worst.

"My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. He was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support. We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too," Corinne wrote on her Instagram Story over a screenshot of an article updating about her father's health. The institution where Jamie is undergoing treatment, according to TMZ, specializes in rehabilitation for those who have experienced a stroke, spinal damage, and traumatic brain injury. The insider also tells the magazine that Jamie has been working at this facility since late April.

Regarding the acting update, it was just made public that Jamie and Corinne will be presenting a new game show on Fox called We Are Family. in which a renowned celebrity's cousin joins them for a duet. In addition, it was revealed that Nick Cannon and Kelly Osbourne will replace Jamie and Corinne as the hosts of the following season of Beat Shazam. A week after he posted an Instagram video of himself on a big yacht, Jamie Foxx was reported to be having health issues.

Several actors had commented on Jamie Foxx's Instagram post including actor Halle Berry who wrote, “Love you, Jamie.” While other stars and celebrities like Rappers DJ Khaled and Ludacris expressed with emojis that they were praying for the Just Mercy star.
