Janet Jackson is a sight to behold with or without makeup and her latest video on TikTok is proof enough.

On September 1, 2022, the 56-year-old icon took to TikTok to share a makeup transformation while rapper Latto's song Big Energy played in the background, according to PEOPLE. When the video started, Jackson was sitting on the couch wearing glasses, a grey headband, and an oversized T-shirt. Then, she put her mic to the camera and pulled back to reveal her glam look, a patterned blouse, and a face full of amazing makeup.

Safe to say, that video was a hit among her one million followers on the platform, including Mariah Carey, who left a comment, "Love you!!! ❤️❤️❤️."

"Swear I love this woman with EVERY OUNCE OF MY BEING!!!😍🥰😍," another person commented. "Just stop it!! How are you aging backwards? I'm living off this energy all week! Stay beautiful, Beautiful. 🥰," added a third.

Jackson, in 2017, welcomed son Eissa, 5, with ex-husband Wissam Al Mana. In June 2022, during an interview with Essence, she spoke about how her most important thing in life currently is being a mother, per PEOPLE

"Even though it's something that I absolutely love, it still is my work, my job," she explained. "There will be music at some point. Exactly when? I can't say just yet, but there will be. I love it too much not to do it. This is all I know. There's so much that I want to do — but my number one job is being a mama."

She then admitted that she doesn't really care about fame. She doesn't have any of her five Grammys or any other awards on display in her house because she strongly feels that success is earned elsewhere, like spending time with her son or recognizing her growth from child star into "the woman that I am today."

"That's not important to me, whether I did or didn't, to be quite honest," she says. "It's really the body of music touching people and how it impacts their lives that matters to me. It's not the accolades. I honestly don't think about that stuff."

She then spoke about how there's still a lot that people get wrong about her personal life.

"When it comes to my personal life, I think mistaking my kindness for weakness," she says. "When it comes to my professional life, I would say it would have to be not liking to hear the word 'no.' Especially being a woman, and someone telling you, 'No, you can't because…'"

Ever since she welcomed her son, Jackson has remained out of the spotlight, and a source told PEOPLE in February 2022 that motherhood has given the star a new perspective.

"While a career entertainer and workhorse, she has taken to being a parent with the same passion," said the insider at the time. "She is so happy and has found new meaning in her life."
