Jason Momoa, 42, and Lisa Bonet, 54, might be giving their relationship another shot.
Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet announced their split after five years of marriage in a joint statement on Instagram earlier this year.
"We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring," the joint statement read as per PEOPLE. "And so we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage." "We share this not because we think it's newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty. The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become…" The statement concluded, "Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life our children. Teaching our children what's possible. Living the Prayer. May Love Prevail✨ J & L."
Soon after their split, a source told the outlet that the couple "want to explore other things" and they still care "deeply about each other." "They were a great couple with a lot of love and respect for each other, but people change and goals change and they weren't the same together anymore," added the source. The longtime couple first started dating in 2005 after being introduced by mutual friends at a jazz club. A source pointed out that over time, the couple's careers took them in different directions. The insider noted, "A few years ago, Jason was struggling to find work. Now his career is booming. And he wants to keep working as much as he can." Bonet "has had no interest in joining" Momoa "on every location," added the insider. "She enjoys her life in L.A."

But it looks like the couple has since had a change of heart. A source told HollywoodLife that the couple is already living together again! “Jason moved back in with Lisa about two weeks ago and they are very much back together,” the source shared. “They decided to work on things rather than throw in the towel because they have so much invested in each other.” The couple’s two children – daughter, Lola, 14, and son, Nakoa-Wolf, 13 – are “obviously thrilled” the source said, adding, “Everyone is really hoping that they can make this work this time around.”
Momoa first saw Bonet on The Cosby Show. “Ever since I was like 8 years old I saw her on the TV, I was like ‘Mommy, I want that one,’” he told James Corden in 2017 before adding (jokingly!), “I’m like, ‘I’m gonna stalk you for the rest of my life and I’m gonna get you.’ I am a full-fledged stalker. I didn’t tell her that until we had two babies, otherwise I’d be creepy and weird.” What about Bonet? “I can’t say it was full-on from the moment we saw each other, but we have been together from the day we met,” she said in 2018. “In that moment, love came and it came big and he did not run as I think a lot of men do.” If it's meant to be, we hope the couple work things out and that they are ultimately happy no matter what they choose.
