Smoothies have made their way into the lives of several celebrities, and most of them swear by it, claiming that this concoction is the secret to their active lifestyle. Per Healthline, the versatile beverages are even being marketed as a healthy food item, given how it increases intake of fruits, vegetables, and a bunch of other healthy ingredients.

You can make one of these thick, creamy beverages either at home or get one from a store. They will help you remain full for a while making sure you get your daily fix of nutrition and fiber. But, make sure that the store-bought ones aren't loaded with sugar. WebMD says that in some cases, it can also be used as a tool to facilitate weight loss if used correctly.

Every celebrity has a unique smoothie recipe that they swear by, and the 13 going on 30 star Jennifer Garner also shared a recipe that she consumes regularly.  She took to Instagram to share a video of her whipping it up, and she even penned the entire recipe down, reports Women's Health

Garner reportedly jumped onto the smoothie bandwagon while preparing for her movie, Peppermint, after she started working with celeb nutritionist Kelly LeVeque.

LeVeque is known for what she calls her Fab Four formula: a drink with enough protein, fat, fiber and greens to keep you full for hours.

The Be Well Smoothie that she created for Garner has fairly simple ingredients that you can find anywhere.

Here's how to make it:

2 scoops of collagen protein powder
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
A handful of fresh spinach
A small handful of ice
A very small handful of blueberries

The Yes Day star joked that she adds extra almond butter and blueberries to her blender if no one's looking! Now, all that's left to do is simply blend and serve.

Celebrities that consume smoothies regularly:

1. Jennifer Aniston

Aniston opts for a simple smoothie that contains chocolate almond milk and chocolate stevia. She also adds cherries, bananas, and blueberries to it, per Insider

2. Reese Witherspoon

The Legally Blonde star says she got the recipe for her drink from Kerry Washington. It contains lettuce, spinach, apple, banana, pear, and coconut water.

3. Venus Williams

Williams' smoothie has pineapple, coconut oil, and almond milk. She also recommends adding a banana for more flavor.

4. Gordon Ramsey
