Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were recently seen meeting a group of contractors at their new home on March 11. The Hollywood power couple's long hunt for a home seems to have come to an end as they are said to have paid a lavish $64M for the Pacific Palisades estate. While Affleck, 50, kept his style casual in an orange flannel jacket, a black pullover, and black trousers, Lopez, 53, went without her customary glam look in baggy blue cargo pants and an oversized white jumper. The A-list couple looked focused on the task at hand as they walked around the expansive property.

Lopez and Affleck reportedly had first decided to go for a nearby property worth $34.5M, but they went ahead with buying a different property. There appeared to be plenty of driveway space for cars in addition to the main house's three-car garages on their new property. The enormous 13,000 sqft property has six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and a 3,000 sqft guest house with two bedrooms and four bathrooms. It also has two studies, a video room, a sizable game room with access to the backyard, two playrooms, a sizeable kitchen, and a family room.

The new house also has another upside to it as it is close to the Pacific Palisades mansion where Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner lived for nine years when they were married. The megastars, who tied the knot last year, have been residing in James Packer's opulent $60M Beverly Hills property. Lopez's six-year-old, nine-bedroom Bel-Air French-style home, which she put on the market for $42.5M in February, has already found a buyer.

The property, owned by Gregory Milken, one of LA's richest people, and his wife EJ, was not even listed last week before Affleck and Lopez bought it over. Milken, EJ, and their five children resided in the house for more than 10 years. They paid $14.5M for it back in 2009. The house is now on the market for $64M. It is unknown if Lopez and Affleck, who have five children, will pay the full market price for the house or negotiate a deal.

Recently, the couple was also in the news as Jennifer Lopez brought her husband Ben Affleck as her date to the Grammys this year and it seemed the latter wasn't having the best time. He remained serious throughout the broadcast and it even become an overnight meme. However, a seat filler next to them spoke to media outlets and revealed that  Affleck knew very well that his expressions would make for social media chatter.

“J.Lo showed Ben Affleck the phone and was like, ‘Oh my god, honey, look at this meme circulating about you,’ and he was like, ‘Oh god, this again.’ Like, he knew during the performance that he was a meme,” the seat filler had said according to Yahoo! News. “Like he knew, and he also chose just not to change his expression. I love how unbothered that is. So, I know that she was like on her phone and saw it and was like, ‘Honey this is so funny, look at this,’ and he was like ‘Jesus Christ'.”

Despite the memes and the gossip around the couple, "Bennifer" are going stronger than ever and making important life decisions together.
