"Nothing like trying to wrangle 3 kids and 2 dogs for a holiday shoot," Jessica Alba captioned the video.
The actor and Honest Company founder Jessica Alba showcase the struggle every family probably goes through while trying to capture a holiday photo. The actor took to Instagram to share a little behind-the-scenes look at her family's attempt to take a matching gingham patterned pajama photograph. What organized chaos!
In an all-too-real video, we see Alba trying to wrangle her 3 kids, Honor, 14, Haven, 11, and Hayes, 4, along with her husband Cash Warren who also tries to round up the two pups Lucy and Dolly for the family photo.
"Nothing like trying to wrangle 3 kids and 2 dogs for a holiday shoot… 🤦🏽♀️ #BTS realness 😂" she captioned the video.
The family, in matching green gingham jammies, is seen jumping around on a pillow and attempting to direct the shoot on their own terms. We can see them yelling, trying to coordinate where they want to sit. Their son drums a beat on the block he is sitting on and her husband tries to get the dogs to lie down, "Sit, Sit.." can be heard from time to time.
Next, we see Alba trying to decide whether they need another take or not, followed by kiddos jumping and making faces at the camera. You can also see Honor, making faces as her mom holds socks very close to her face...one user commented, "Honor said.MOM. 😂😂😂 I hate feet too baby girl! 😂"
In the last few seconds, we get to see the end product and nobody is complaining, it's safe to say that none of that struggle went in vain. "Thank you for showing the real struggles of getting a family photo!!,” commented one fan. “😂😂😂😂😂 you are not alone, added another."
Alba has never been afraid to show the real side. Back in July, the actor revealed that she goes to therapy with both of her daughters.
"I went with both of them. And around puberty is when it's the time I think, for me, with my girls," she explained in an interview with Glamour UK. "That's when they started to sort of shut down and get really like, 'I don't want to talk anymore.' And I'm like, 'We're not doing this. We've got to keep a line of communication here. How can I be a better parent to you? How do you want me to talk to you? Don't shut me out.'"
It seems like Alba's parenting skills are on point, even if it's chaotic at times.
