John Candy’s Children Remember Their Dad on the 29th Anniversary of His Passing | “You Will Always Be Loved”

John Candy, the beloved Canadian actor and comedian passed away 29 years ago, but his memory lives on through his family and fans. On March 4th, the anniversary of his death, his two children, Jennifer and Chris Candy, took to Instagram to pay tribute to their late father, per TODAY.

Jennifer Candy shared a throwback photo of her and her dad posing in a kitchen, captioning it with a short but heartfelt message. “You will always be around. You will always be missed. You will always be loved,” she wrote.

Chris Candy, on the other hand, posted an old photo on Instagram of his father standing near the water, along with a touching message. “Sending love to my father today,” he wrote. “29 years ago you started a new journey. I miss you and think of you often. I still think of you daily. Loss is never easy but I can optimistically say it is one of the great teachers in life.”
