The video montage features rare photos of their three children: Ella, 22, Benjamin, 11, and late son Jett.
John Travolta shared a heartwarming Mother's Day tribute to his late wife Kelly Preston.
According to PEOPLE, the Grease star honored his late love and the mother of his children by sharing a montage of rare photos of the family to Instagram. The first image in the video, which was set to the tune of Barbara Streisand's song "That Face," featured a black-and-white photo of Travolta with "From me to you" written in white lettering. The actor captioned the four-minute video, writing, "We love and miss you Kelly. Happy Mother’s Day."
Daughter Ella also shared a tribute to her mother in an Instagram post of her own. Sharing a sweet throwback picture of the two on a rollercoaster ride, Ella wrote, "I’ve learned a lot from all of the strong and powerful women in my life, I thank you all for being such wonderful role models. I miss and love you, mama. Happy Mothers to all of the wonderful moms out there!"
While Travolta mourned the loss of his wife, he's been making sure to pay tribute to her every year. Last year too Travolta honored his late spouse on Mother's Day with a brief letter to Preston writing: "Dearest Kelly, you brought into my life three of the most wonderful children I have ever known. Thank you. We love and miss you. Happy Mother’s Day."
Travolta lost his partner after a two-year battle with breast cancer at the age of 57 in 2020. The pair first met in 1989 at a screen test for their 1989 comedy, The Experts. Over the course of time, they fell in love and tied the knot in 1991. The couple had been together for 28 years and share three children: Ella, 22, Benjamin, 11, and late son Jett. Jett died in 2009 at just 16 years old after he suffered a seizure and hit his head in a bathtub. Throughout Travolta's life, he's endured heartbreaking losses. In spite of the pain, the 68-year-old continues to move forward and be there for his other two children.
Travolta previously opened up to Esquire about the pain of losing someone you love, saying, "Grief is individual and experiencing your own journey is what can lead to healing. This is different from someone else's journey. The most important thing you can do to help someone else when they are grieving is to allow them to experience it and not complicate it with yours."
