They've had a rollercoaster romance, one that they themselves descrive as not-always-easy. But their love for each other is one thing that is always constant.
25-year-old pop sensation Justin Bieber is no stranger to fame and going viral on the internet. But when he posted pictures from his wedding to Vogue model, Hailey Baldwin, he took over the internet again, this time, with his wife by his side. With the event taking place at the Palmetto Bluffs resort, South Carolina on September 30, 2019, according to Metro UK, their wedding pictures look absolutely stunning. Exchanging their vows in front of family and friends, the entire ceremony was certainly grand and star-studded.
But this was not the first time they got married. In fact, the two had been married for a year after being on-and-off since 2016 but solidifying their romance in 2018. It was in the same year that Justin knew that Hailey was the one for him and he popped the question two months into dating each other. After their engagement, the two got married in secret at a New York City courthouse on September 13, 2018, reported People.
“They didn’t want anyone but their families to know they got married. This wasn’t a wedding,” a source previously told People exclusively. “They can’t wait to have a wedding,” the source said at the time. “But for other reasons, it was easier for them to get the legal stuff out of the way now and to get married. It was more of a necessary ceremony to make it legal. It doesn’t seem like it was a big deal to them.”
Well, a year later, they finally went all out with their wedding ceremony. Where the Baby hitmaker was seen in a black tuxedo, his 22-year-old bride was dressed in a white lace, off-shoulder, long sleeve mermaid style gown designed by Chicago based designer Virgil Abloh, reported Harper's Bazaar.
However, there was something else that made the dress special. On the long sheer veil she donned, were the words "Till Death Do Us Part" sewn into the cloth in the designer's signature block style.
A week after the happiest days of their lives, Hailey took to Instagram to open up about some sweet and intimate moments of the special day with her fans:
And ever since they got married, their love has only been growing every day. In February 2019, the niece of actor Alec Baldwin spoke up about their married life in a Vogue interview when they had just a few months under their belt. She said, "There's something beautiful about it anyway -- about wanting to fight for something, commit to building with someone. We're really young, and that's a scary aspect. We're going to change a lot. But we're committed to growing together and supporting each other in those changes."
It's not like the couple haven't had their ups and downs but they show that they truly do need each other. In the same Vogue interview, Justin said, “I’m the emotionally unstable one. I struggle with finding peace. I just feel like I care so much and I want things to be so good and I want people to like me. Hailey’s very logical and structured, which I need. I’ve always wanted security—with my dad being gone sometimes when I was a kid, with being on the road. With the lifestyle I live, everything is so uncertain. I need one thing that’s certain. And that”— he picks up her hand and continues —“is my baby boo.”
This sentiment continued as a source close to the couple told People, that Justin and Hailey “really are two kids who are crazy in love." They added, “Hailey has a sweet, pure heart and her life is simple and uncomplicated. That’s something Justin has craved for a long time whether he knew it or not. Hailey brings stability to his world, and she truly just wants to build a loving, happy home and family with Justin.”
Well, the two seem to be falling in love more and more every day and we wish them all the best for their married life. To many more years ahead.
