The 43-year-old has 3 kids with fiancé Danny Fujikawa, ex-husband Chris Robinson and ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy.
Kate Hudson is part of a modern family and she couldn't be prouder of how she's co-parenting three children with three different fathers. The 43-year-old shares daughter Rani Rose, 4, with fiancé Danny Fujikawa. Her oldest is son Ryder, 18, who she shares with her ex-husband Chris Robinson. She also has another son Bingham "Bing," 11, with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy, reports PEOPLE. While it may look incredibly unconventional to a lot of people, Hudson says she's acing it.
"It might not look traditional from the outside, but on the inside I feel like we're killing it," she told the Sunday Times of co-parenting with the three fathers. "The unit that I've created with three children with three different fathers is a seriously strong unit, and it's ours." Speaking of her oldest, she said son Ryder is "very happy" in college and she and Robinson "just need to check in once in a while." As for Bellamy, the actress said he is "so wonderful" and she "couldn't have asked for a better co-parent." "For me it's like, you loved this person. That doesn't just go away, but you can re-establish a different kind of love. You can have an amazing time with an ex-partner because you're really only focused on the love of your child," she shared.
The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress got engaged to Fujikawa in 2021 and couldn't be more in love. The Almost Famous star gushed about her fiance saying that he's "such a wonderful dad and stepdad." "Last night he was going through some old footage on his phone of him and Rani and it melted my heart," she added.
Hudson knows a thing or two about blended families thanks to her mom Goldie Hawn and her partner of nearly 40 years, Kurt Russell. On an episode of their podcast, Sibling Revelry Hudson and her brother Oliver shared the lovely moment their mom Goldie Hawn fell in love with Kurt Russell. The two who are Hawn's children from ex-husband, actor Bill Hudson, opened up about the first time meeting their 'Pa'. Oliver said, "there's a really beautiful story ... about when Pa and Ma went on their first date and saw us sleeping." The two were apparently just 3 and 6 years old. "It was the first time she brought him to the house, it wasn't the first date," said Hudson. "Mom said that's when she fell in love with Kurt – right away was because she brought him back to the house and we had already been asleep, and we shared a room... and he sat down next to each of us, he sat down next to you first and watched you sleep and then came by." The siblings admitted that this was the first time their mom saw him as a family man and knew he would be a perfect father figure to her children. Seeing his sweetness around her children, she knew, this was the man she was going to spend the rest of her life with.
