"Like my kid walked in one time while I was practicing my witch moves and he was like, 'Oh my God, Mom!'" the actress recalled.
Kathryn Hahn is known in Hollywood for her comedic roles and famously for her role in WandaVision as Agatha Harkness but above all that, she has to play the most important role of a mother to her two kids. In many of her previous interviews, the 49-year-old actress has talked about her kids, proving that she has an incredible bond with them and her household seems filled with lots of fun and laughter. According to Cosmopolitan, Hahn married her college sweetheart, producer, and writer Ethan Sandler in 2002. The couple welcomed their first child, Leonard, in 2006 and their second child, Mae in 2009.
In one such interview with PEOPLE, Hahn dished out her kids’ reaction to her job as an actor. "No one can really admit to their mom that they're cool, which I understand and respect, but they definitely were a little bit suspiciously nicer to me these days. So I feel like I'm going to take that as a huge compliment. They're definitely proud for sure." She recalls the time when her son Leonard walked in on her practicing. "Like my kid walked in one time while I was practicing my witch moves and he was like, 'Oh my God, Mom!' Like it was as if he just saw me just getting out of the shower," she said. "He was so embarrassed."
Hahn also spoke to the PEOPLE Every Day podcast, hosted by Janine Rubenstein, and disclosed "that WandaVision isn't the first of her projects her kids have loved and they're fans of Anchorman and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days."
The Glass Onion actress also revealed that once she had a not-so-pleasant encounter with a doctor while she was pregnant with her daughter at the age of 35. “I remember an insensitive doctor calling me a ‘geriatric mother.’ I’m in a similar situation where I have pals that are like that too and I think the most sensible thing is just to realize it’s not our business,” she said as per PEOPLE.
As per ENews, Hahn also believes that “mothering and parenthood have become different for almost everyone and there are more varied ways to become parents than before.” The actress and her husband have also been in news recently for filing a petition last week in Los Angeles in order to add "Hahn" as a second middle name before the last name "Sandler" for both their kids, according to TMZ.
