Keith Urban is a Grammy Award-winning country music artist known for his pop-rock influences and honest lyrics. He had charmed the stages for years with his songs, set to lovely guitar rhythms and intense emotions. Urban can only reflect on how far he has come now that he is living every singer's dream. His early job was not as glamorous as his current existence, and he had to wade through some muddy waters before obtaining the near-perfect life he enjoys today. Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are one of the most well-known Hollywood couples, but they are more than simply their great careers. The Undoing actress and ACM Award winner are also amazing parents to their two kids, Sunday and Faith. The country singer and the well-known celebrity married in 2006, and their first child, Sunday, was born two years later in 2008. Faith, their youngest child, was born in 2010.

According to ABC, Keith Urban, the multi-platinum country recording artist, admitted that parenting his two girls, Sunday, 10, and Faith, 7, has been a "learning curve." “I just love being a parent,” Urban said in an interview for the ABC News special, “Country Music’s Biggest Stars: In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts.” "I didn't know that I'd ever get to be one. It's an incredible feeling,” the four-time Grammy winner continued. “And having girls — I love having girls. You know, I come from a family with no sisters, one brother. So, it's been quite the learning curve in a really good way.”Urban has been married to Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman for 12 years and is recognized for various singles including "Somebody Like You," "Raise 'Em Up," and "Blue Ain't Your Color." Despite their celebrity, Urban added, "we just have a real life," raising their daughters away from the spotlight as much as possible.“We have a real life in the sense that we do the most normal things as a family, and we don't live on social media all the time. We don't read tabloids… we don't give it any attention,” Urban said.

Urban was a heavy drinker and had an eternal cycle of drug use before he met Kidman. Nevertheless, instead of walking away, Kidman was determined to assist her husband to overcome his addictions, and the same year they married, Kidman conducted an intervention for her new spouse. She assisted him in entering a recovery facility, and after three months of hard work, the "You'll Think of Me" singer came home determined to stay sober, TODAY reported. "I caused the implosion of my fresh marriage," he said. "It survived, but it’s a miracle it did. I was spiritually awoken with her. I use the expression ‘I was born into her,’ and that’s how I feel. And for the first time in my life, I could shake off the shackles of addiction." The seeds of Urban's drinking were sown as a kid. Growing up with an alcoholic father, he saw the devastation the sickness could cause a family. Accepting that he had the same problem as his father was difficult. “My dad was an alcoholic, so I grew up in an alcoholic house and it took me a long time to believe I was wired the same,” he shared.

Urban claims he avoids discussing his sobriety because he wants his legions of fans to be able to enjoy themselves without having to deal with the hard subject matter. “I don’t talk a lot about it because I love my audience being able to just come and have a great time," he said. "I’ve nothing against drugs or alcohol." While Urban is pleased to disclose how much Kidman has helped him, the actress is quick to stress that the help is mutual. Last month, at the 94th Academy Awards, Urban flew in late after his performance to be on the red carpet with his wife, who was nominated for Best Actress for Being the Ricardos.
