"Not only do they party together, they're united against us, which I love," husband Dax Shepard said about their daughters Delta, 7, and Lincoln, 9.
Sometimes kids can be upset with something their parents did and it looks like it's no different for actress Kristen Bell and her daughters. The 42-year-old recently revealed her kids' disappointment just before she left for the premiere of her new comedy The People We Hate at the Wedding in Los Angeles on Wednesday, along with her husband, Dax Shepard. Bell's daughters are Delta, 7, and Lincoln, 9. Bell told ET "They're now at the age when they're fine when I leave, which is great, but I did get four different voice memos on my phone on the way here about the fact that we didn't have Oreos. They had been counting on Oreos and what a huge disappointment I was because I had not re-stocked the Oreos," she added, teasing, "Can you blame 'em? It's a good cookie."
As for the couple, they've been together for over a decade and recently revealed the secret to their 10-year marriage with Bell advising, "Stay vulnerable. At least my secret. You've gotta be vulnerable -- we have to be vulnerable when we don't want to be. That's what works for us." Do they have any plans of celebrating the milestone? A vow renewal perhaps? "Yeah, why not?" Bell told the outlet, adding that she and her husband, who tied the knot in Oct. 2013, would likely choose to have an intimate affair at home with their kids.
As we reported recently, the pair initially settled on only having one child as part of their family but fate had other plans. Speaking of their change of heart, while appearing on The Endless Honeymoon podcast hosted by Natasha Leggero Shepard said that he and his wife "did not want a second child" assuming that they felt "so content and so full, you're not wanting for anything. So I think for Kristen and I, we had two thoughts. One is we travel a lot. It's not fair to bring this little human everywhere we go and deal with only adults. We owe it to her to give her a playmate that travels with us," he shared. "We love her enough to do something we don't really want to do, which is, have a second 'cause we were so absolutely happy with just the one."
Shepard also admitted how much he adores his girls when they gang up on the couple. "Not only do they party together, they're united against us, which I love," the actor admitted. When he and Bell are "giving it to one of the girls, the other one comes over like, 'You're not being nice to Lincoln, you didn't listen to what she said.' And I'm like, 'That's right. That's your role. You guys gang up and kill me. It's you two against the world like that.' "
