Every family has its problems and those might seem like the biggest issues until a crisis pops up. In times of difficulty, a good family comes together to help each other and fill the gaps that one person can't. For instance, imagine planning a wedding all by yourself as opposed to having helping hands in the matter. Nobody can keep track of every little thing that needs to be done. Whether it's a wedding or the birth of a child, events like these bring families together. People set aside their differences and come together for the one person whose special day it is.

Little People Big World's cast Amy Roloff, her ex-husband Matt Roloff, and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, have not been on the best of terms with each other, but recently something important happened that brought them together.

Previously, Amy had expressed that she's not comfortable with Chandler. She had also accused her ex-husband of cheating on her while they were still married. In her memoir, A Little Me, Amy said that he had an affair before they officially split up and the person was a farm manager at Roloff Farms. Chandler used to be a manager at their farm until recently. Fans have assumed that the Roloff matriarch was hinting at Chandler, as per CheatSheet.

"I saw messages, pictures, and other things that should not have been shared between people who just worked together and were still married to other people," Amy wrote. "I was devastated."

However, Matt had expressed his disappointment at Amy for putting him in a negative light. "I think she did throw shade at me," Matt said of Amy’s book. "I don’t think it was really fair. And it was hurtful. It was actually very hurtful. It took me a while to kind of process it and absorb it."

Even during the show, Amy and Chandler hardly ever interact with each other but during season 20, the three of them rallied together to help people they all love: Zach, Tori, and Jackson Roloff. The reality TV show is broadcasting a part of their life that has already happened in 2019 but seeing the family come together was a heartwarming moment.

When it was time for Tori to go to the hospital for the birth of her second child with Zach, who is Amy and Matt's son, their first son, Jackson, was left at home.

"Tori went to the hospital kind of out of the blue. We know now it’s not a false alarm. This is the real deal, the baby’s coming tonight," Matt told the cameras on episode 7. The remaining Roloff adults on the farm had to make a quick decision about who would care for Jackson, who is three now. "While all of this happened, Jackson was napping. So Amy jumped in. She went over to the house to watch him until we could get there," Chandler added.

Later, Matt and Chandler picked up Jackson from Zach and Tori’s place. "I had known ahead of time that Jackson would be staying with Matt and Caryn for at least a few days," Amy said. "You know, I would hope that regardless of what’s going on our family still rallies and still comes together to be there for each other," she said.

She also took to Instagram to speak about Zach and Tori's baby girl, Lilah. "For the sake of the family... That happened in November, I wasn’t in my house yet, lot of stuff was packed. So, it was the natural thing to do to have Caryn and Matt watch Jackson for a few days. … It was the right thing to do," Amy explained.

Amy's friend Lisa added that Matt and Chandler had been surprised at the lack of drama, but Amy said she wanted it to be "all about the baby" back then. "I will say that whenever someone’s going through something like that, two people definitely handle it different, and it was a lot for me to handle. But, we’re on new roads, 2020," Amy added.

Amy met her granddaughter Lilah, who is also a little person. Tori said that she had to have a C-section "because Lilah has dwarfism." "It’s not that I couldn’t have a VBAC [vaginal birth after caesarean section] but just most likely it would have ended in a C-section so we just skipped ahead," she said, as per PEOPLE

"The hospital this time was so much more difficult for me," she responded to another question from a fan. "However I feel like I’ve recovered a lot faster this time around. Now just trying to get back into shape and love my body through [postpartum]."
