The proud father had recently celebrated his daughter's latest equestrian accomplishments and her passion for horse riding as she posed for a photo with him holding two ribbons. "Proud of my baby girl. 🐴🥇🏆❤️," he captioned the competition shots. Wahlberg also shares two sons Brendan, 14, and Michael, 16, and another daughter Ella, 19, with his wife Rhea Durham. While appearing on The Tonight Show the 51-year-old actor joked about looking forward to an empty nest when host Jimmy Fallon pointed out that Wahlberg's youngest is only 12. The 'Ted' star added, "She's already traveling the world, jumping horses and doing her thing." "Of course, she picked the most expensive sport possible," the actor joked.
Wahlberg previously opened up to PEOPLE about how his older daughter Ella paid tribute to his time as a former member of Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch through her fashion. "My daughter actually was so cool. She bought a Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch T-shirt from a vintage shop, and she's been rocking it like crazy," Wahlberg said. Ella "wasn't doing it to give me a hard time," the Ted star continued, "She was really rocking [it] with me." "It's nice to have [her celebrate] some of my past," Wahlberg added. "That was actually a very nice little moment for me." Wahlberg previously told host Ellen that his children have "seen videos of me performing, and they are mortified," during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "Like if they see a photo of me in the underwear, oh my God they would be so embarrassed. My son has just recently turned 16. Let's just say that and he gets embarrassed by everything that I do even the stuff that people think is cool in 2022," added Wahlberg at the time.
The Massachusetts native who is putting family first decided to move his family of six to Nevada to give themselves "a new look, a fresh start for the kids" and also since "there’s a lot of opportunity" there, the 'Daddy’s Home' actor told The Talk. He added, "After this gubernatorial election, hopefully, we go to legislation and get a bill passed so we can get tax credits for the state, build a state-of-the-art studio here and make this Hollywood 2.0." The 'Uncharted' star wants "to be able to work from home" and spend time with his family.
