"I always know that it's him. Even yesterday, I was having a moment and then the clock bells started ringing," she said.
Paul Walker passed away ten years ago, yet his daughter senses him everywhere around her. Meadow Walker recently revealed to E! News at the Fast X premiere in Rome, Italy, that she often gets messages from the late actor at precisely the right times.
The Fast and Furious actor's daughter is now opening up about what her father meant to her and how his co-stars came to her aid when she most needed it. Talking to Keltie Knight, the chief correspondent for E! News, on the May 12 red carpet, she said, "For me, it's numbers, four and seven are my dad's favorite numbers."
Continuing about her encounter with her father's presence in her life she said, "And I swear whenever I'm doubting anything or whenever I'm in an argument with someone or anything, I start seeing four and seven everywhere. So I always know that it's him. Even yesterday, I was having a moment and then the clock bells started ringing. And I was like, 'OK, it's all good, it's gonna be OK.'"
Meadow, who has a cameo in Fast X, also takes solace in being with her Fast family, although she is still navigating her grieving path.
When asked if she will pursue acting full-time as her father did now that she has dabbled in the industry, the American model replied by saying that she's not sure yet, "I'm thinking about it," she said. "Modeling is my focus and that's my big passion, but I could see myself potentially in the future breaking out a little bit," she added.
Regarding the debut, she said that the times when she misses her father the most are those that are not related to the series. "For me, honestly, this brings out the happiness. For me, this is super exciting and he would be amazed that this is happening."
The 24-year-old just made her on-screen appearance public in a heartfelt letter to her cinematic family, which includes stars Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, and Vin Diesel.
In an Instagram post about her recent venture, Walker wrote, "The first fast was released when I was one year old! Thanks to my dad, I was born into a fast family. I can't believe now I get to be up there too. With those who have been around to see me grow up. I am so blessed to be able to honor my father's legacy." She concluded, "and share this with him forever x." On May 19, Fast X will be released in cinemas.
Paul Walker is most remembered for his work in the Fast and Furious series as well as other films including Into the Blue and She's All That. His life, however, was sadly cut short in 2013 when he was killed in a car accident.
