The 'You've Got Mail' star says there are more important conversations than how women look and how they are aging.
Meg Ryan, who has drawn criticism for her appearance, must now live up to her reputation as the "queen of romcoms" as she gears up for a comeback with a fresh love story. Ryan seems to like becoming older. But in 2016, despite her steadfast denial of the claims, her appearance sparked discussion as many questioned if she had undergone surgery. An experienced cosmetic surgeon, Mark Youssef revealed exclusively to HollywoodLife that Meg Ryan has likely had a significant amount of work and that, in his opinion, it is "too much" after the actress debuted a dramatic new look at the Tony Awards in 2016. Her attendance at the Tony Awards that year sparked a scandal that quickly extended to social media, where her supporters engaged in heated debates.
On Twitter, one user who did not like her appearance said that it was "hard to look at her". One fan remarked that she had met Ryan in person and thought she was beautiful, and another questioned why it mattered what she did if she was satisfied with it. According to E! News, Ryan is used to criticism, of course, but she has learned to concentrate on the important things. She said, "there are more important conversations than how women look and how they are aging." She confessed that she was content with her life and age as it was. She is now older, and since she began blending into the background, her appearance has matured. Though many have seen this, Ryan won't even engage in a discussion about it. Ryan remarked that everything comes with time. People get bogged down in these discussions about appearance, hair color, and origins. 'It's interesting and funny for five minutes, but it's not that interesting."
I saw in real and she still is a beautiful woman. Stop shaming women!

Ryan says that after spending many years in Hollywood, celebrity is now more of a "condition" than an "affliction." She would rather chat about healthy subjects like what she is eating or how her children are doing than talking about appearances and another person's age. While she enjoys social media, she is also aware that there may be misunderstandings and inaccurate information on these platforms. Regarding those who were judging her, she said, "There's a lot of hatred in the world today—it's so easy to judge." The notoriously private actress now claims that her relationship with fame has changed over time. Fame, she claims, is so cheap. Actually, privacy is what's expensive.
Despite the fact that we are unable to confirm it, Mark is adamant that Meg has undergone plastic surgery according to his professional assessment. He said, "I think she looked better before this treatment." She could have gone overboard. People may be a bit surprised since she doesn't resemble the Meg Ryan that we are all familiar with.
With her innate beauty and girl-next-door charm, the When Harry Met Sally star won the hearts of people all over the world. Her facial characteristics now appear considerably more artificial. Mark is concerned that Meg's significant transformation may be caused by addiction. He states, "It’s basically an unhappiness with your image."
