Meghan Markle was spotted on the pretty lanes of Canada a few weeks ago strolling with baby Archie and two cute little dogs, looking like the happiest mommy ever. And why not? For a mother, spending quality time with her child is of paramount importance. Meghan and Harry proved it right a hundred times when they decided to depart from the royal household to safeguard their family from daily stressors and anxiety.

A close friend of Meghan revealed to Daily Mail that it was, in fact, the anxiousness of a worried mother that led them to take this grave decision. “She also felt like she couldn’t be the best mother to Archie if she wasn’t being her true, authentic self. Something she felt she couldn’t be in the royal family confines," the friend said. “She said she didn’t want Archie picking up on her stress and anxiety."

The friend also revealed that after their exit from the royal camp they have been "doing things that regular families do." In fact, she said, "Everything pretty much revolves around Archie right now and Meghan getting back into shape."

While the former actress does not talk about her personal life, which is probably a part of her decision to keep baby Archie away from the limelight and media glare, she recently gave a big update about her son. According to TOWN&COUNTRY, Meghan gave a heartwarming speech about gender equality for the occasion of International Women's Day at Robert Clack School in Dagenham and took this opportunity to reveal the first milestone of her 10-month-old.

“He’s exactly ten months today and he’s started trying to walk,” the Duchess said to a 66-year-old visitor of the event. And in a separate conversation with a student at Robert Clack School, Meghan revealed that “having Archie changed my life.”

We can't agree more! While we knew that the 38-year-old is a believer of liberty and independence, it was only after Archie's birth and their subsequent exit that we came to know how she has transformed into a fierce mother who does not shy away from doing what it takes to protect her child.

Also, according to the Daily Mail, the Duchess also spoke with another student about the importance of motherhood. “She was talking about how having Archie has changed her life and how important motherhood is,” the student said.

Not just Meghan, Harry too, is highly emotional when it comes to his son, Archie Harrison. In fact, he had once broken down in tears publicly at the WellChild Awards in London when talking about them being parents, reports Today. "Last year when my wife and I attended we knew we were expecting our first child and no one else did at the time, but we did. And I remember... I remember squeezing Meghan’s hand so tight during the awards and both of us were wondering what it would be like to be parents one day."

"And more so, what it would be like to do everything we could to protect and help our child should they be born with immediate challenges or become unwell over time," he went on. He now understands what it means to be a parent and how important it is to protect one's child from any hardships. "And now, as parents, being here and speaking to all of you, pulls at my heartstrings in a way I could never have understood until I had a child of my own," he shared.

Their emotions and the dire need to protect their son from anything that could cause him harm reflects the feelings of any parent who wants to keep their kids safe.
