"She wasn't given a big chance in life. Had a really rough life," her aunt said.
25-year-old Mikayla Standridge has been missing since posting a cryptic message on social media alluding to her own disappearance. The mom-of-one went missing from Concrete on April 21. She was trying to call 911 for help around 5 a.m. on April 21 but when she was finally connected to dispatch, her phone died, according to her family and The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office. Standridge was last seen running out of a home she was staying at in Concrete, Washington. "If I ever go missing or anything just know I didn't leave," Standridge reportedly wrote on social media on April 16, per PEOPLE.
Standridge’s family and friends are desperate to get her back home safely. “We just want you to know that you are loved. Very, very much,” Mardi Martone, her aunt said, according to Kiro 7. Angela Anderson, one of her aunts added, “It’s just been a horrible nightmare our family has gone through.”

Lt. Jeff Willard with the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office said crew members have been looking for the young mom in Skagit View Drive and the Skagit River. Boats from East County Water and Rescue searched the river the past few days. Drones and a helicopter have also been used in their search. “So, the river presents weird challenges for us. We have specific equipment designed to navigate the river to look for people, to find people. And we are going use all of those assets on this search,” Willard said.
The family is holding onto hope to find their loved one despite the situation looking so bleak. “We just want you to come home. We love you. I want you to know that. Don’t let anybody keep you from your family,” Martone said. “We all want her home,” Anderson added. Martone has also been handing out flyers describing what Standridge was last seen in. “Text me, call me, send me picture. I’ll drop what I’m doing and come if I know it’s her,” Martone said.

"She wasn't given a big chance in life. Had a really rough life," Martone said per Cascadia Daily News. "Her parents checked out on her. It's been two aunts and grandparents raising her. She's a beautiful girl and ran into the wrong people." The missing woman is a young mom to a two-year-old boy. “She always wants to laugh,” Martone said. “Always wants to help people. She’ll call you out of the blue just to say hi."
If anyone has any information on where Standridge is, they are urged to call the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office immediately. Standridge weighs about 100 lbs., with blue eyes and blonde and pink hair. Martone also asks anyone who knows anything to call her as well. Her number is 360-488-3111.
