Kaitlyn Fullerton and her husband, Sergio Mancera, were driving from Houston to their home in Victoria when she felt some pressure.
No soon-to-be parents expect their baby to be born in a gas station bathroom, but for one couple in Texas, that's exactly what happened!
Kaitlyn Fullerton and her husband, Sergio Mancera, were driving from Houston to their home in Victoria on Sunday when the pregnant mom felt some pressure. "We got further along the road and I felt like I needed to start pushing, well I thought I needed to go to the bathroom," she said, according to KTRK. The then-22-year-old who is a Licensed Vocational Nurse told her husband that she needed to use the restroom, so he pulled over into a Pilot Gas Station in Beasley.

As Mancera waited in the car with their three-year-old son Nikolai, Fullerton's quick trip to the bathroom turned out to be something unexpected. "I kept on feeling like a water pressure.... because whenever I stood up, my water broke," Fullerton explained. It was then that she started praying. "My God, please don't let me have this baby in this restroom," she recalled saying to Fox affiliate KRIV. But her second baby was on its way. "I was standing up the whole time," she said. "I felt the head and then he just came right out and I like grabbed him and I was holding him right here close to me and that’s when someone outside the restroom was like ‘do you need help?’"

The stranger also called to Mancera in the parking lot and told him what happened. The new father-of-two was completely shocked. "I looked up, saw a woman saying ‘hey your wife just gave birth.’ I was like ‘what?’" Mancera said. "It’s crazy to think she gave birth in the restroom," Mancera said. "Once I got to the restroom she was over there all happy, smiling at me like nothing happened." "Afterwards I didn’t feel any pain at all except I still felt the contractions because I didn’t deliver my placenta until I got to the hospital," Fullerton said smiling. "That’s when it started to hurt. Delivering the placenta hurt more than delivering the baby. It’s just really a miracle. Yeah, it was like a miracle," the couple added. "It’s like God was right there really watching over us."
Things looked better for the couple after they appeared on the Kelly Clarkson Show. After all the chaos, host Kelly Clarkson admitted to the couple that they needed some "much-needed rest." She revealed that they were getting a vacation in Punta Cana. The couple was so shocked and grateful but there's no doubt they deserve it!
