"There's a lot of possibilities that I'm scared of after not hearing from her for three weeks now," Toni Alcaraz, Nikki's sister had said at the time per KABC. The couple was driving a 2013 black Jeep Wrangler with Tennessee license plates with their dog. They were seen on May 4 by the Torrance County Sheriff's Department officials who issued a report showing Nikki with a black eye after witnesses alleged they saw Stratton punch her in the face. The report also said Stratton had blood coming from his mouth and nose, and that he also claimed he'd been hit. Neither Alcaraz nor Stratton decided to press charges.
Her brother Josh says he 100% believes she is in danger. "It's not like her to not reach out to anybody, especially her kids," he said per KABC. He also added that Nikki knew her boyfriend for at least 15 years.

Toni told WKRN had said, “She was crying and upset. Her eye was already turning black and you could tell she was beat up pretty bad." On May 9 Toni got a text from her sister saying she was in Arizona and planned to continue driving to California. As per a recent update by the local police, Nikki was spotted in Redding, California at a Walmart store on Saturday, per PEOPLE. She reportedly sold her phone at an ecoATM, Cheatham County law enforcement officials told WKRN/News 2.
Her sister Toni had said, "I am scared something happened to them, whether they got in another fight or if they crashed her Jeep somewhere." Her brother is pleading for her to come home. "I immediately tried calling her and it went straight to voicemail," said Josh Alcaraz. "I sent texts that are still undelivered. She always has her phone so that's when it was really concerning."
