Since Will Smith infamously slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars for a joke he made about Smith's wife, old videos and stories about the couple have resurfaced. In one very uncomfortable clip from 2019, Will Smith seems irritated when his wife starts recording a video of him for her social media without telling him in advance.

The 49-second clip—which was initially filmed by Pinkett Smith on her Instagram Live—has clocked thousands of views on Reddit since it popped up, according to New York Post

The video has sparked speculation about the couple's union, with some viewers claiming the Men In Black star looks “uncomfortable” and “anxious” as he speaks with his wife. The video by Pinkett Smith was to basically promote her chat show Red Table Talk, as she shared, “You know [therapist] Esther Perel is coming to the table — she’s gonna be at the Red Table.”

She then pans the camera to her husband and asks, “Would you say she has been instrumental in you and I redefining our relationship?”

“I would say don’t just start filming me without asking me," a visibly irate Smith answers. Not taking his statement into consideration, Pinkett Smith continues filming, calling her husband's response saying that she is "still dealing with foolishness" and asks him again, "Would you say that she helped us heal the hurts that we caused between one another?"

Seemingly at a loss for words, Smith replies, "My social media presence is my bread and butter. So you can't just use me for social media. Don't just start rolling, I'm standing in my house." However, before ending the problematic video, Pinkett Smith can be heard saying sarcastically, "Please watch Esther at the Red Table because she's helped us a lot ... Can't you tell?"

One viewer took to the comments section on the Reddit page where the video has resurfaced, writing: “He [Smith] looks so uncomfortable.” Another chimed in: “He looks hella anxious like he knows Jada is going to provoke him and he’s afraid of how it will go down.”

Recently, another clip of Pinkett Smith admitting she ner wanted to get married to Smith in the first place also went viral on social media platforms. In the clip from 2018, Pinkett Smith candidly recalled how her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, also known as “Gammy,” 68, forced her and Smith to get married after she became pregnant with their first son together, Jaden, now 23.

“I really didn’t wanna get married,” Pinkett Smith, 50, restated at the circular table, in the presence of her mom, as well as Smith, 53, and their daughter Willow, 21.

“The wedding was horrible,” Banfield-Norris conceded. “It was a mess. Jada was sick, she was very unpleasant … She didn’t cooperate with anything.” Laughing, Pinkett Smith agreed, saying, “And I was so upset that I had to have a wedding. I was so pissed I went crying down the freaking aisle. I cried the whole way down the aisle.”

But with time, Pinkett Smith got over her aversion to their marriage and decided that tying the knot was, in fact, “the right call.”
