After multiple miscarriages, when Olivia Newton-John had her 'beautiful child', Chloe Lattanzi she felt like she had been blessed and considered it an 'achievement' of her life.
Olivia Newton-John's daughter is remembering her late mother by sharing a few photos of the Grease star.
On August 8, 2022, just hours after news of the actor's death, Chloe Lattanzi posted a series of sweet photos with herself and her mom. The series started off with a throwback of Lattanzi grabbing her mom's face closer for a kiss and ended with selfies and photos of the mother-daughter duo throughout the years, according to PEOPLE.
Just three days before Newton-John's death, Lattanzi shared a picture of her and her mom in matching white outfits. "I worship this woman. My mother. My best friend," she captioned the image.
The mother and daughter share a rather close bond, and it's all because Newton-John welcomed Lattanzi into her life at a time when she thought she would never be able to become a mother.
In her memoir, Don't Stop Believing, the actress opened up about her struggles with pregnancy. She revealed that before the birth of her daughter, Lattanzi, she suffered from multiple miscarriages that left her feeling absolutely dejected, reported Fabiosa.
Expressing her devastation while going through losses one after the other, she wrote, "Each time my heart was broken." While awaiting the birth of her daughter, Newton-John was closely monitored by the doctors because she was pregnant at the age of 38, and was considered “an older mother.”
After suffering from miscarriages in the past, she was constantly worried that things could go wrong with her pregnancy but as time went by she learned to leave all her worries in the past and planned for the future. She realized that she had a future filled with joy and happiness.
Life chose to award her with pleasure, for her to start a new chapter in her life, and Chloe Lattanzi was born. She was finally a mother! Though a few weeks premature, she was everything Newton-John wanted. But with happiness comes a little dose of sadness; the Grease star's encounter with miscarriages didn't stop. But it did not affect her as much as it did previously, because she had her daughter.
"I had a beautiful child," she wrote and continued, "And if I never have another child, I’m blessed already. I can’t complain." For her, having Lattanzi was no less than a miracle, and she is grateful for it. She loves her only child more than anything in the world and cherishes every moment with her. Lattanzi is “the greatest pleasure and achievement” of her life.
Here's hoping Lattanzi finds the strength to get through this tough time.
