After going through a lot, the couple is living it up on a beautiful vacation.
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are head over heels in love with each other and pictures from their recent holiday in Hawaii are proof enough. The couple, who have had a busy year, are now enjoying some time to themselves.
Sharon, 69, first took to Instagram to share a short video of the mesmerizing sunset at the tropical destination and captioned it, "aloha ahiahi 🌴."
The next day, on August 21, 2022, she posted another picture of her and her husband, 73, sharing a romantic kiss in a pool captioned, "🏝 ❤️." The vacation comes just a bit after the couple rang in their 40th wedding anniversary in July.
On July 4, 2022, Ozzy shared a sweet throwback snap from the couple's wedding day to mark four decades of togetherness. "40 Years Ago Today! Happy Anniversary My Love," the Black Sabbath rocker captioned the photo.
Sharon, who met her husband when she was just 18 years old, also tweeted a picture of the two writing: "52 years together and today 40 years married Always by my side. My soulmate, Happy Anniversary Ozzy." According to PEOPLE, the two tied the knot in 1982 and share three children, Aimée, Kelly and Jack.
Their vacation also comes after experiencing a lot of health scares, including Ozzy being diagnosed with COVID-19. In June 2022, Sharon then revealed she was heading to Los Angeles to be by her husband's side while he went through a surgery.
A source told Page Six that the musician was going to be “having the pins in his neck and back realigned from when he had a fall back in 2019 … He’s been in a lot of pain.” The musician has been battling Parkinson’s disease for several years now and his movement has been affected by the disease. But, through it all, he has had his family beside him.
Apart from health issues, the couple have also been affected by a few scandals that include cheating. The couple split briefly in 2016 after rumors of Ozzy having an affair with hairstylist Michelle Pugh began to circulate.
“I honestly at this point today have no idea what I’m going to be doing with the rest of my life,” Sharon said on The Talk at the time, as per Us Weekly.
“I don’t know where I’m going, who I’m going with. And I just need time to think. And really think about myself, about what do I really want for … Because I’m 63 years of age and I can’t keep living like this.”
Via a statement, the musician also admitted that he cheated on his then-wife with many women. He also revealed that he had been dealing with sex addiction for six years. But the couple worked through it and patched things up rather quickly. A source revealed that the couple had been going to therapy and worked hard on their relationship in becoming stronger.
In a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone, Ozzy admitted, "It's a rock 'n' roll thing — you rock and you roll. You take the good with the bad. When I was a crazy f---er, I'm lucky she didn't walk out. When I said, 'Don't get caught by your missus,' I'm not proud of all that s---," he said. "I upset my wife and I upset my family and I made a lot of shock and shame. I love my wife, and it made me realize what a f----- idiot I've been."
Thankfully, the couple did work out their differences and come out the other end stronger.
