Pamela Anderson, 53, got married to her Vancouver Island local boyfriend in a small wedding on her property, where no one else was present.
Finding lasting happiness and love may not be easy for everyone. Some people might need multiple attempts at relationships before finding their true love, and Pamela Anderson might be one of them. The 53-year-old actress reportedly got married in secret for the fourth time on Christmas Eve.
"I'm exactly where I need to be—in the arms of a man who truly loves me," Anderson told Daily Mail. The Playboy model said she got married "on the property I bought from my grandparents 25 years ago," adding, "This is where my parents were married and they are still together. I feel like I've come full circle."
Anderson married her bodyguard boyfriend, Dan Hayhurst, in an intimate wedding in Canada's Vancouver Island after falling in love during the lockdown. Anderson, who is from Canada, was seen beaming in the photographs from the nuptials, which was conducted by a local pastor. The couple read traditional vows during their wedding, the ceremony for which was blessed by Canadian First Nation.
Qiyupelenexw from Snuneymuxw First Nation acted as a witness and sang the Paddle Song, signifying a new journey, and the couple and their home were blessed in a traditional "cedar brushing" ceremony. The wedding took place in the sprawling countryside property the Baywatch actress bought from her grandparents. The 53-year-old was born in Ladysmith, a remote fishing village in British Columbia, in 1967. She grew up there before moving to Los Angeles.
She met Hayhurst, who lived on Vancouver Island, at the beginning of lockdown in 2020, and since then they have been together all the time. "This one year together has felt like seven – like dog years," joked the actress. She added that they fell in love head over heels and it was a "natural fit."
"I am in love. We were married on Christmas Eve with both our families' blessing, everyone we know is happy for us," she added.
She added that the "romantic property" she is on "has a lot of healing energy." The actress added, "I'm at peace here. It's a big property but a few people passing by could see the fairytale gown with the long Princess Diana veil dragging in the mud. Heaven." She styled her wedding dress with a pair of sturdy Hunter rain boots while standing on the muddy ground. "It's the Canadian girl in me," she said.
No friends or family members were present at the wedding. "We prefer to be ourselves," she added.
On January 26, she made her final post on social media as well. "This will be my last post on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. I’ve never been interested in social media and now that I'm settled into the life, I'm genuinely inspired by reading and being in nature, I am free, thanks for the love, blessings to you all," she wrote.
"Let's hope you find the strength and inspiration to follow your purpose and try not to be seduced by wasted time. That's what THEY want and can use to make money control over your brain," she added.
This is Anderson's fourth marriage. She was married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in 1995 but they divorced in 1998, according to People. They have two sons together: Brandon Thomas and Dylan Jagger. She later married and divorced Kid Rock in 2006. Then she married and divorced producer Rick Solomon twice — in 2007 and 2013. Both times, the marriages were over within a year.
In early 2020, she said that she married movie producer Jon Peters. However, only eight days later she said that they split up. They had never been legally married. The statement had said, "No hard feelings - no Marriage, no Divorce...just a bizarre theatrical lunch."
After her latest nuptials, a source told People, "She's very happy," and added, "And they've been together for the entire pandemic. She's super happy and he's been helping her fix up her home on Vancouver Island."
