Pamela Anderson Married Tommy Lee After Knowing Him for Just 96 Hours | Their Union Was Nothing but Tumultuous

For the Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee , it was love at first sight and marriage after 96 hours.

Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's marriage was a story that was perfect for the media. For the blonde actress and the punk boy, it was a love-at-first-sight fairytale that turned into a roller coaster ride filled with drama.

The duo met in the Sanctuary club in 1994 on New Year's Eve. In his Mötley Crüe's 2001 autobiography, The Dirt, Lee wrote that he was already "popping [ecstasy], drinking champagne" and acting crazy when Anderson sent him a shot. The rocker approached the actress and the two chatted for hours until Anderson gave him her number, reported Rolling Stone.

However, for the next few days, Lee had to literally become a "stalker" as Anderson kept forgetting about the plans they made. Lee's desire to spend some time with the actress grew so much that he followed her to Cancun. In his book, he wrote that it was the actress's friends who begged her to "'go out with him for one drink. It couldn't hurt.' Well, it did hurt, because four days later we were married."

Married you ask? Well, after spending just 96 hours together they decided to tie the knot in 1995 on a beach. Lee wrote, "Instead of wedding bands, we went for something more permanent: Tattoos of each other's names around our fingers." He revealed that it was only after they were on the plane that it hit him, "This was real. We were married." Talking to People, Anderson said, "It was just instant, mind-blowing animal attraction. He's everything I've ever wanted in somebody."

What was meant to be their happy time didn't turn out how they imagined it. It didn't take much time for Anderson to get pregnant but sadly she suffered a miscarriage and it left Lee "depressed for months." Things just went downhill after that.

With their eldest son Brandon's birth in July 1996, Lee realized that the little one's arrival made him it made feel "like an invisible man" as Anderson paid more attention to the baby. With their second son Dylan's birth in 1997, it became worse, reported Rolling Stone.

He wrote, "Now I was full-on nonexistent... I turned into a whiny, needy little brat." It didn't take much time for the arguments to begin. He revealed that one time his tantrums got so bad that Anderson had to call her mom as Lee was scaring her. It only got worse.

In 1998, Anderson filed a domestic abuse complaint against Lee, as reported by the Evening Standard. She said, "Tommy physically attacked me with complete disregard for my safety and, more importantly, for the safety of our children. Tommy kicked me violently in the back several times and in the buttocks. He was completely out of control." Apparently, Lee wanted to cook but there was no pan. It got him mad and one thing led to the other. Ultimately he ended up attacking the actress.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Lee was sentenced to six months behind bars but pleaded no contest to spousal battery. Following his arrest, the Baywatch star filed for divorce. Though they tried to wade off their differences in the later years, they went their separate ways in 2010.

Talking about her rocky relationship, Anderson told People, "There was Tommy and then there was nobody else. He was the love of my life. We had a wild and crazy beginning that was too much for both of us." She added, "I had beautiful children with him. My kids are grateful to be born out of true love. Everything else I was trying to piece together."

Although they tried to maintain a cordial co-parenting relationship, in 2018, according to The Blast, Anderson's then-21-year-old son Dylan came into the spotlight after he allegedly knocked Lee unconscious after he tweeted a derogatory statement about Anderson.
