Piers Morgan, 56, has reignited his tirade against Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, former actress, and philanthropist. Markle, 39, recently announced that she is writing a children's book about father-son relationships, as seen through the eyes of mothers. It is inspired by the relationship between her husband Prince Harry and their son Archie.

"The Bench started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father's Day, the month after Archie was born," the duchess said in a statement. "That poem became this story. My hope is that The Bench resonates with every family, no matter the make-up, as much as it does with mine," she said.

Morgan, who was the host of Good Morning Britain, attacked Markle yet again by saying that she "ruthlessly disowned her father Thomas." He wrote in Daily Mail that she "refuses to have anything to do with him despite the fact they now live just 70 miles from each other."

"She also spray-gunned Thomas in her lie-packed Oprah whine-a-thon in a manner that was more 'ice, rage and irritation' than 'warmth, joy and comfort,'" he wrote. The British TV personality also trashed Prince Harry for criticizing his father, Prince Charles, in the Oprah interview. He wrote that Harry was "moaning about how Daddy had stopped taking his calls or giving him cash, sounding like some needy spoiled brat teenager rather than a 36-year-old multi-millionaire doormat who ditched his family, country and duty because his chillingly controlling and ambitious wife wanted him to."

He went on to call her idea, the relationship between fathers and children, of the book "absolutely ridiculous given the appalling relationships she and her husband have with their own fathers." He further added, "Yet her brazen decision to do it anyway is so sadly typical of a woman whose tendency for staggering hypocrisy is only matched by her extraordinary tone-deafness."

He didn't even stop at Prince Charles but also managed to include the recently deceased Prince Philip in to his rant as well. "Unforgivably, he did this as Charles was desperately worried about HIS father, Prince Philip, who was lying seriously ill in hospital and later died," wrote the columnist, while spewing vitriol.

In response, people on Twitter also voiced their opinion against the British host, who had to quit his job as the host of the morning show as he refused to apologize to Markle. He had initially said that he didn't believe she had mental health struggles when she was pregnant.

"Anyone else noticed that the only thing keeping Piers Morgan relevant is his unhinged obsession with Meghan and his insatiable desire in whipping up hatred toward her? It’s beyond creepy now. Makes me really uncomfortable," said one person on Twitter. Another person added, "Can we have a universal ‘Block Piers Morgan Day’?? I will start."

The duchess' relationship with her father has been strained since before her wedding to Harry. Her ex-boyfriend, Joshua Silverstein, told Us Weekly that her relationship with her dad has been frayed for a long time.

Silverstein, who Markle dated when they were very young, said that he knew Thomas while growing up. "I didn’t see him often … but I did know that Meghan’s relationship with her dad was complicated and I understood that as most teenager-to-parent relationships are," said Silverstein. He claims he knew about her "challenging" dynamic with her dad.

"Being there when Meghan’s parents were divorced at that time … it’s hard raising your kids without the secondary parent," he said. "It’s all challenging," he added. Markle's relationship became strained with her father as a result of the divorce between her parents, he insinuated.

The 39-year-old philanthropist said in an unaired clip that her family and friends were given a "very clear directive" to not speak about her relationship with Harry when they began dating in 2016. It didn't stop her dad from going public about it and it caused more issues between them.

"There was such an obsession about anything in my world, including tracking down my parents. And I did everything I could to protect both of them in that media frenzy," she explained. "But for over a year, the UK tabloids were trying to find my dad, offering people so much money to try to find his address." Eventually, a letter she wrote to her dad wound up published in a tabloid. She sued the tabloid and won against them.

There are all sorts of fathers and daughters, and some have a good relationship while others don't. When someone unrelated tries to criticize an adult for having boundaries with their parents, it sounds like an unreasonable thing to do.
