"The main focus right now is on her family," a source said.
Rihanna flaunted her growing baby bump while shopping with A$AP Rocky, 34, at the Maxfield in West Hollywood, California On March 15. The 35-year-old Lift Me Up hitmaker chose a casual outfit on her day out. She wore a blue long-sleeve t-shirt with red and white stripes and tucked it in a way to expose her baby bump. Her partner sported baggy jeans and a green vest worn over a red plaid shirt and T-shirt. Hailey Bieber, 26, was previously seen with Justin Bieber, 29, sporting the same top as Rihanna.
The Grammy winner and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, welcomed their first child in May 2022 and have baby number 2 on the way. She admitted her 9-month-old has changed her perspective on life. “When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world — you can do anything. And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was … there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all,” she said about her Super Bowl performance, per The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s important for my son to see that.”
"The main focus right now is on her family. She loves spending time with her son," a source told PEOPLE about the We Found Love singer, in February. "She loves being a mom so this is where her mind is at the moment," added the insider. "She is the happiest she has ever been." A source previously told the outlet that she doesn't plan on stopping with just two children and wants a bigger brood with A$AP Rocky (né Rakim Mayers). In fact the musician "wants several kids and is happy that her son will have a sibling come summer. She loves parenting with Rakim. They are great together," added the insider.
The music superstar previously spoke to retired NFL player and host Nate Burleson on the first episode of his podcast, The Process with Nate Burleson, saying she thinks twice before making a decision ever since she became a mom. "I'm living for my son," Rihanna said of her firstborn on the iHeart/NFL podcast. "Everything matters now. You really start to take a lot into account. Skydiving?! You really think about stuff like that — it's not worth it," she added. "Everything is different, life before my son seems very obscure. It's very small and cloudy, it just got better with him."
Rihanna noted that raising a child is no easy feat but it's definitely rewarding. "It's so much hard work, but nothing is more fulfilling than that," she explained.
