She awaits the little one’s arrival into her “family of weirdos”
Rumer Willis is celebrating her pregnancy in style! The 34-year-old actress teamed up with Naked Cashmere for a Mother’s Day collection and posed for a campaign announcing the partnership. The House Bunny actress who is expecting her first baby with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas also posed in various knit styles from the brand. Page Six reports the star’s collaboration with Naked Cashmere will be ongoing and she’ll be “curating capsule collections for mothers and newborns and collaborating on future styles,” according to the brand’s press release.
Rumer's family has been very excited to meet the little one since her pregnancy announcement. This is the first time her dad Bruce Willis is going to be a granddad! Their blended family includes Bruce and mom Demi Moore along with Rumer's sisters Tallulah Willis, 29, and Scout Willis, 31, as well as Bruce and wife Emma Heming Willis' daughters Evelyn Penn, 8, and Mabel Ray, 11. Rumer is hoping her child inherits some qualities from parents Bruce, 68, and Demi, 60 especially their "goofiness."
"We're a family of weirdos, and I love that so much. I really hope that that is engendered in this child," she told PEOPLE. "That's my favorite thing, laughing with my family."
Rumer said her family has been incredibly supportive during her pregnancy and couldn't be more excited for her. "It's so fun to be bringing in the first grandkid in our family, especially because we're such a huge group at this point. Because my youngest sister is 8, we haven't had a little tiny baby in our family in a while. My sisters just keep saying, 'I can't wait to put their foot in my mouth, or just play with them." She shared, admitting that she is "so grateful" to have such a close bond with all of them that she gets "to rely on them for support that way."
Rumer is also keen on having a big family because "the more the merrier!" She said, "I'm like, let's go. I'm one of five sisters. Even though we're from two separate litters, I can't imagine not having siblings. We are so close. My sisters are my best friends. I can't imagine not giving my kids that." She also said that her partner has made the pregnancy much easier on her and has been a strong pillar of comfort and support. "He's an angel. Literally cooks every meal for me, brings me water, and is so, so sweet. He's been so lovely, and he's just so excited to be a dad, and we're both just so delighted to meet whoever this little person is. I could not have asked for a better partner, and he's going to be such a great dad," she beamed.
