With her first child arriving soon, Rumer Willis is radiant. Rumer's mom Demi Moore and her sisters Tallulah Willis, 29, and Scout Willis, 31, all gathered as they hosted a baby shower in Los Angeles for her over the weekend. At the intimate gathering, the 34-year-old soon-to-be mom and her partner Derek Richard Thomas shared a performance, PEOPLE reported.

Rumer opened up about her pregnancy and how she always wanted to be a mother during an episode of Bathroom Chronicles, a podcast hosted by Peggy Rometo and Kimberly Van Der Beek, that aired last month. "It's like one of those weird things that I know sometimes people have such clarity about, like 'Oh, I want to be a musician, I want this,' and it was never a question for me that I wanted to be a mom," she said. "And that just felt like such a divine purpose and something that when I started thinking about it, felt like such joy."

Willis said she recalls recently talking to Thomas about becoming a parent, noting that she "can't wait" for the special moments she and her baby can share together. "I was talking to my partner the other day and saying, 'You know, when I go to the farmers market, I call it church because I leave and I feel so excited'," she said. "And the idea of being able to bring my kids in like a little cart or something brings me so much delight, I can't even ... I can't wait."

Rumer's family has been very excited to meet the little one since Rumer's announcement. In December, the family bonded together to help out Rumer while she was at a doctor's appointment per PEOPLE. Moore, the 60-year-old grandmother-to-be, posted a picture from Rumer's ultrasound appointment in which she posed with Tallulah's dog Pilaf and the rest of her daughters in a cheerful family portrait. "Saying hello to the little nibblet!! Overjoyed for you, my sweet Rumer," wrote the G.I. Jane actress. "It's an honor to witness your journey into motherhood, and can't wait to welcome this baby into the world!"

The announcement of Rumer's pregnancy came at an otherwise dark time for the family as they're navigating patriarch Bruce Willis' dementia diagnosis. The Willis-Moore family is renowned for being a close-knit group, particularly because they support one another as Bruce struggles with frontotemporal dementia. Following his diagnosis with aphasia, a language disorder that is "impacting his cognitive abilities," the family first disclosed in March of last year that he was "stepping away" from his decades-long acting career, per PEOPLE.
