It's no secret that Prince William loves music, and it appears that his son, Prince George, is a fan, too. The two of them showed their passion for music during Queen Elizabeth II's recent Jubilee celebrations.

As part of Saturday's Platinum Party at the Palace concert, Rod Stewart performed a rendition of Sweet Caroline and both dad and son were seen singing along to Neil Diamond's classic 1969 hit while waving around Union Jack flags, as seen in a clip published by Hello! Magazine

The sweet moment the father shared with his son was appreciated by people all over social media. Frankly, some of them were even impressed to see how the little one knew the lyrics to the song, proving that music really is important in the Cambridge household, per Marie Claire.

"Prince George singing along to Sweet Caroline with his dad and waving his flag, a British classic," one viewer tweeted, while another commented that the moment was "Beyond cute."

"Did you see little Prince George singing along to Sweet Caroline with Rod Stewart! Aww," a third asked.

The hit number was recently voted as the Thank You Day Jubilee Anthem by BBC Radio 2 listeners.

In December 2021, the Duke of Cambridge appeared on a podcast and spoke about the adorable morning routine he has with his kids, where they have a dance party to a song chosen by one of them. At the time, their absolute fave was Waka Waka by Shakira, he said.

“Most mornings there’s a massive fight between Charlotte and George as to what song is played,” the Duke of Cambridge revealed in an episode of Time to Walk by Apple Fitness, according to TODAY. “And I have to, now, basically prioritize that one day someone does this one, and another day it’s someone else’s turn. So George gets his go, then Charlotte gets her go. Such is the clamor for music.”

“There’s a lot of hip movements going along,” William shared. “There’s a lot of dressing up.” He added that Charlotte especially is very fond of the song. “Charlotte, particularly, is running around the kitchen in her dresses and ballet stuff and everything,” William said. “She goes completely crazy with Louis following her and trying to do that same thing.”

“It’s a really happy moment where the children just enjoy dancing, messing around, and, singing,” he noted.

The news went viral immediately, so much so that Shakira herself gave a shout-out to Princess Charlotte for loving her song. "I'm so pleased you like my music Princess Charlotte!” she wrote.
