Beckham revealed that Harry is enjoying being a young father.
Not too long ago, Harry was a prince of, arguably, the most famous royal family in the world. But he gave up his royal privileges and titles for his family. In his emotional departure speech, he had mentioned that it brings him great sadness that he and his wife have to step back from their royal responsibilities but there was no other way to keep his family safe and away from the prying eyes of the media.
Earlier, HELLO! had reported how Harry broke down at an event talking about his reaction to Meghan's pregnancy news. “Last year, when my wife and I attended, we knew we were expecting our first child — no one else did at the time, but we did — and I remember…” he said before his voice choked and tears ran down from his eyes. After taking a couple of minutes to gather himself, he said, "I remember squeezing Meghan’s hand so tight during the awards, both of us thinking what it would be like to be parents one day, and more so, what it would be like to do everything we could to protect and help our child should they be born with immediate challenges or become unwell over time."
"And now, as parents, being here and speaking to all of you pulls at my heartstrings in a way I could have never understood until I had a child of my own."
The second-born son of Princess Diana is so emotional when it comes to his child, just like the late princess herself. Multiple times, Harry has exuded the same parental instincts that Lady Di had. And the newest on the list to call him a doting and an exemplary father is soccer legend David Beckham.
At an event to celebrate his new business venture, co-ownership of a new Major League Soccer team, Inter Miami, Beckham spoke to ET about what he thinks about Harry as a father. "I haven't spoken to Harry about him moving. We speak as friends and that's the most important thing for me," the legendary soccer player said. "I think he's enjoying being a young father for the first time and that's what we always spoke about. When you are a parent, it changes everything for you. He always needs to be happy."
He also added that Harry has the qualities of a good and loving father and he has adapted to his new life efficiently. "We love him and he's an amazing person - and that's the most important thing - but I'm proud to see him growing up as an individual and being that person that every father wants to be," Beckham added. "Every father wants to be loving to their children and that's what I see with him."
The English soccer legend is known to be a doting father himself. He loves spending time with his children and many-a-time both Beckham and wife Victoria have revealed that their kids are their priority. Therefore, earning a few words of praise from a father like Beckham should motivate Harry to not only be a perfect father for his child but also set forth an example for many who still think raising a child is a mother's job.
