Harry and Markle also appeared to have been slighted at the late monarch's funeral when they were forced to sit in the second row instead of sitting up front with the rest of the royals.
The Royal Family's ongoing rift with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex further solidified over the weekend when the couple was officially demoted on the family's website. Pictures of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have now been pushed all the way down to the bottom of the "Members of The Royal Family" page and just above that of Prince Andrew. This is quite the drop for the couple who used to have their dedicated pages listed right below Prince William and Kate Middleton while they were still working members of the family. They were pushed to sit right below Princess Anne after they stepped down from their duties on January 2020.

Their demotion to the bottom of the list is just the latest of many snubs the couple has faced since returning to the UK from their new home in California following Queen Elizabeth II's death on September 8. Unlike the rest of his family, the Duke of Sussex was initially barred from wearing his military uniform to the ceremonies. He was only later permitted to do so for the actual funeral under the condition that he could not have his late grandmother's initials on his military uniform. The 38-year-old is said to have been so "heartbroken" by this slight that he almost opted out of wearing the uniform altogether.

Harry and Markle also appeared to have been slighted at the late monarch's funeral when they were forced to sit in the second row instead of sitting up front with the rest of the royals. "I think it's very sad [that] in the days Harry was here, there was an opportunity given they were just a couple of hundred yards away from each other for a meeting or dinner or gathering of some sort where they could actually just try to thrash things out," The New Royals author Katie Nicholl told reporters about Harry's on-going feud with his brother William, reported Ok Magazine. Although the brothers and their spouses greeted the grieving crowd outside Windsor Castle together, Nicholl says there was no reconciliation between them.
Body-language experts are being called upon to analyze photos of Harry, William, Kate and Meghan. “I find that I’m still in my dressing gown at about 4 o’clock in the afternoon,” one analyst said. https://t.co/7MaFG1555S

"William can be very stubborn and hold a grudge. Harry is emotional and hotheaded and they're both very passionate and there's a lack of understanding on both parts and resentment on both parts and anger on both parts, that hasn't been able to be placated and worked through," she said. The brothers' relationship is believed to have taken a turn for the worse after Harry and Markle's widely publicized 2021 talk with Oprah Winfrey about their decision to leave the royal family. During the interview, the couple recounted the racism they felt from the media and their family but these claims were vehemently denied by William, who is now the Prince of Wales.
