The Duke of Cambridge is pictured with Princess Charlotte and Prince George on either side of him, while his youngest child, Prince Louis, is perched on his shoulders.
Prince William is a great dad and this picture of him with his three children, all with the widest grins on their faces, is proof enough.
In the picture, released by Kensington Palace on June 18 to mark Father's Day, the Duke of Cambridge is pictured with Princess Charlotte and Prince George on either side of him, while his youngest child, Prince Louis, is perched on his shoulders.
According to PEOPLE, the happy picture was taken during their vacation to Jordan last fall. "Happy Father's Day to fathers and grandfathers across the world today!" they posted on their official Instagram account.
The Prince, who will turn 40 on June 21, spoke about parenthood nearly 7 years ago, just a bit after welcoming Charlotte. "I’m a lot more emotional than I used to be," said William during a chat filmed for the British TV documentary When Ant and Dec Met The Prince: 40 Years of the Prince's Trust, per Hello! Magazine.
"I never used to get too wound up or worried about things. But now the smallest little things, you well up a little more, you get affected by the sort of things that happen around the world or whatever a lot more, I think, as a father."
"Just because you realize how precious life is and it puts it all in perspective. The idea of not being around to see your children grow up [is horrible]," added William, who lost his own mother, Princess Diana, in a car accident, when he was only 15 years old.
In fact, he has everything it takes to be a great father, body language expert, Judy James told Express. "This pose seems to show William as a man fulfilled and at peace with himself in the roles of both father and husband," James said, talking about the recently released image. "It’s a casual look to suggest an emphasis on more down-to-earth fun."
The best part about the photo is that "all three children are roaring with laughter" in the company of their dad. According to the expert, this "shows how much William and Kate encourage this more normal side of their life away from the formalities of royalty".
Talking about the Platinum Jubilee festivities, James said, "We saw Charlotte and George on duty during the jubilee but here we can see them looking every bit as playful as little Louis."
"William has been through a lot of emotional challenges over the past couple of years but his slightly bashful but also loving and equally playful facial expression here suggests he has emerged calmer, stronger, and more confident thanks to Kate and his children helping to keep him grounded," she concluded.
