Prince Louis could occasionally be seen pointing things out to Charlotte in awe, probably asking questions to his older sister.
At their grandpa, King Charles III's coronation, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis had a tender moment. At the ceremony on May 6 at Westminster Abbey, Charlotte, and Louis stood behind their parents, William and Catherine, the Prince and Princess of Wales, while holding hands. Charlotte, who wore an all-white outfit from head to toe for the ceremony, protectively clasped hands with her younger brother during the coronation, per TODAY.
The eight-year-old Charlotte held Louis' hand as they followed his parents inside the abbey, perhaps offering reassurance or making sure he walked in the proper direction. They sat in the front row with their parents at the start of the actual coronation. The young prince occasionally yawned during the serious religious rites, and from their seats close to the high altar, he could occasionally be seen pointing things out to Charlotte in awe, probably asking questions to his older sister.

Princess Charlotte matched her mother, Kate Middleton, by donning a silver bejeweled floral headpiece and an embroidered cloak over her white frock. Louis, 5, stood in contrast to his sister and dressed appropriately in a navy blue suit. Prince George was a page of honor during his grandfather's coronation, thus he was not shown with his siblings.
The Wales family met Prince George after he finished his duties after the King was crowned and the official part of the day ended, per BBC. In the first carriage after the Gold State Coach, they took their positions in the royal procession to Buckingham Palace. Louis waved to the awaiting throng while sitting across from his parents and pressing his face against the glass on one side of the bench.
At one point, he adorably beat his fingers against the balcony railing and displayed his own interpretation of the royal wave. The two-handed wave was probably appropriate on a wet day because it resembled the motion of windshield wipers, BBC reported. Before entering the castle at the end of a hard day, the kids could be seen gazing up at the sky during the flypast.
Along with Nicholas Barclay, the grandson of Camilla's friend Sarah Troughton, Ralph Tollemache, the son of Charles' godson, and Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, the son of the Marquess of Cholmondeley and the former Rose Hanbury, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley, Prince Louis's older brother George, second-in-line to the throne, served as a page of honor.
