Gift giving on Christmas is a tradition that is eagerly awaited every year. Even the royals don't find themselves precluded from this tradition and engage in gift-giving in a fun, light-hearted tradition. According to Town & Country Mag, the royals gather around together to exchange gifts, followed by afternoon tea.

However, the British royals have strict regulations of not exchanging gifts of material value, instead, they are known to give each other quirky and cheeky gifts that are all meant for laughs and good humor.

For example, The Mirror reports Prince Harry gifted his granny a shower cap that had "Ain't Life a B****" emblazoned across the front. And it has also been reported that before Prince Harry was dating Meghan Markle, his sister-in-law Kate Middleton gave him a "Grow Your Own Girlfriend" gift as a gag.

Other funny presents that have been exchanged over the years according to The Mirror include a leather toilet seat, which Princess Anne once gave her older brother, Prince Charles, and a leopard print bath mat, which Fergie received from Princess Diana.

Having said that, the royal kids are not old enough to understand these traditions and have chalked out a Christmas list per their taste. While both the kids have wished for something that they like, Princess Charlotte's wish is something only a royal would have a penchant for. Her wish also reveals that the 4-year-old munchkin has well familiarized herself with the tastes and inclinations of the monarchy and has developed a flamboyant taste at a very tender age.

A supposed royal source told Closer, "Charlotte takes after Queen Elizabeth and is obsessed with horses. She's asked for a pony, but might have to wait until next year because William thinks she’s too young," reports Cafe Mom.

While  Charlotte isn't getting a pony just yet, the source revealed, William and Kate are indulging her interests. "They've bought her a toy riding center, which comes with all the accessories and a children's karaoke machine!" according to Cafe Mom.

The princess' elder brother George, on the other hand, has a somewhat low-key wish but it also reveals a lot about his likings. The source went on to say, "George is really into tennis and has asked for a new racket and a football table."

Turns out Prince George's wishes aren't as over the top as the little princess' as last year he wished for a toy police car! Now, isn't that adorable? However, one has to assume that Princess Charlotte is growing up to imbibe queen-like attributes and it's only a matter of time before we get a little version of Queen Elizabeth herself.
