For many women, being a mom is a joyful thing. The anticipation of welcoming their child, the wonderful time spent together, the delight in taking care of their little one, along with the bittersweet moments of being sleepless, frustrated, or scared - it's a complete package. It's an emotional rollercoaster that many women want to go on over and over again since the perks are as good as the challenges are difficult. What mom doesn't like the unbridled show of affection from their child or being able to experience the first time their baby curled a chubby little finger around theirs?

The Princess of Wales was known as a devoted mother to her two sons, Prince William, 37, and Prince Harry, 35. Having learnt from their mom how to be an engaged and supportive parent, they have now become devoted fathers to their children. There are many instances that were captured by the media that showed how involved she was in shaping her children's minds and souls. Even though there were reasons for her to be unhappy, she kept those to herself while having fun with her kids. Although, she wasn't always successful in putting up a curtain between her life with her husband, Prince Charles, and with her kids. Her kids were often pillars of strength for her.

This royal lady, who was also like many other women in this world, was stuck in a toxic marriage but she had kept her hope for having more children alive. One man who was able to observe the princess closely revealed how she regretted having only two kids. Former butler Paul Burrell was a footman to the Queen before serving as a butler to Princess Diana, according to the Closer Weekly. In 1997, he received the Royal Victorian Medal for his services.

"Princess Diana always wanted more children. She felt that two were not enough. She would’ve had an army of children running through the corridors of Kensington Palace. And of course, she always wanted a girl. Wouldn’t she have just adored Princess Charlotte?" he said. He went on to comment, "I think Diana would be scooping up those grandbabies and squeezing them to death," he said.

Another royal commentator, Ingrid Seward revealed that the princess had spoken with her about her future before she died. Prince Harry, fed up of being the youngest, had wanted another sibling, but Prince William didn't want that. "In June 1997 we discussed if she’d get married again. She said Harry was always asking her to have another baby because he was fed up with being the youngest. But it was a bit difficult, she told him, because she wasn’t married. She said she’d love more children, and she didn’t see herself being single forever. Harry wanted her to get married again, but William didn’t. He wanted Diana to be all there for him. Then she said, 'Well, I have to marry someone who’s prepared to cope with me," Seward said, according to Express UK.

Burrell, who used to be close to the royal family, also added that he thinks that both brothers would have more kids. "It won’t be long before you hear that Meghan is having another baby. I think that Meghan will have another baby soon: A) the clock is ticking, B) she wants these two children and C) have you noticed how she knots everything in the front of her belly? She tries to hide her tummy. Could she already be pregnant?" he said.

That's not all, the former butler thinks that Prince William and Kate Middleton might welcome a fourth child, just like Queen Elizabeth II did. After all, Prince William is the future king but it is not confirmed if he's following his grandmother's footsteps in this matter.

He had previously commented on how their mother would have responded to their royal rift. "Diana would say to them, 'Boys, you’re both my boys,'" he said. "'I love you both equally, I love you both dearly. Sort it out'," he said.
