"We did go to dinner, it went great," Navarone shared.
Navarone Garibaldi Garcia, Priscilla Presley's son, has weighed in on the alleged family feud over his late half-sister Lisa Marie Presley's trust.
Since Lisa Marie's death on January 12 at the age of 54, her mother Priscilla, and daughter Riley Keough have been at odds over the control of her trust, which includes Lisa's father Elvis Presley's cherished Graceland mansion and a 15% stake in Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE), PEOPLE reported.
When asked about the grandmother-granddaughter relationship on his Instagram Live earlier this week, Navarone replied, "Yes, they are fine," adding that there's "no feud." The musician shared, "We did go to dinner, it went great, it's all good."
On April 3, the Them Guns frontman, 36, also posted an Instagram photo of himself with the caption, "Dressed up for dinner with my mama last week." When asked if he took photos with Priscilla, 77, or Riley, 33, at the dinner, Navarone, Priscilla's son with producer Marco Garibaldi, replied "Maybe," with a winking emoji.
While the trust hearing was originally scheduled for April 13, a judge granted Priscilla's plea to postpone it until May 16. In the weeks preceding her passing, Lisa Marie and Priscilla appeared to be close at various events honoring Baz Luhrmann's Oscar-nominated Elvis Presley biopic, Elvis. However, numerous sources have told PEOPLE that the two had hardly spoken at all because their relationship had soured since Lisa Marie's 2016 divorce from ex-husband Michael Lockwood, 61.
Following their divorce, the ex-couple were embroiled in a bitter custody fight over twin daughters, Finley and Harper, 14, which lasted until October of last year. Lisa Marie resented Priscilla siding with Michael, according to friends, and the tension filtered down to Riley, whom Lisa shared with her first spouse, singer Danny Keough, 58. "Riley was always on her mom's side when it came to Michael," said a source.
On January 22, four days after Lisa Marie's Memphis memorial, Priscilla's attorneys submitted a petition in Los Angeles questioning the "authenticity and validity" of a 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie's living trust. The change removed Priscilla and Lisa Marie's previous business manager, Barry Siegel, as cotrustees and gave Riley and Lisa Marie's son Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide at 27 in 2020, control of the trust.
Priscilla, who claimed she was unaware of the 2016 amendment until after Lisa Marie died, contended it should be overturned. However, Lisa Marie's friend stated that there was "zero question" about her intentions. "Lisa wanted Riley and Ben" — and for all her children to be the beneficiaries.
Riley and Priscilla stopped communicating with each other due to the legal proceedings. "They do not see eye to eye," a Presley family source revealed.
