Mark Wahlberg prioritized his family over acting and has moved from Los Angeles to Nevada to spend time with his kids.
Mark Wahlberg has opened up about parenting and reveals which of his kids feels most 'like him'. The actor is a fitness enthusiast and has a strong passion for equestrian sports and that is rubbing off on his 13-year-old daughter Grace. Wahlberg revealed that he sees his work ethic in her and that she is "most like" him. Sharing his admiration for Grace's dedication and drive, Wahlberg noted that she has become his "mini-me" in her pursuit of excellence.
Grace has already taken up horseback riding and is aspiring to become a Grand Prix Jumper. She has already begun training to achieve those goals. Wahlberg spoke to PEOPLE about his daughter's burgeoning talent and passion, "She works out now. She’s an equestrian. She now wants to go up in meters and to be a Grand Prix Jumper. She’s got to train,” said Wahlberg. The actor, who also shares three other children—Ella, 19, Michael, 17, and Brendan, 14—with his wife Rhea Durham, expressed how Grace's commitment has motivated her siblings to find their own passions and pursue them with the same level of dedication. He emphasized that Grace's proactive approach has inspired her siblings to take action and discover their own interests.
Known for his early morning workout routine, which often begins before 4 a.m., Wahlberg revealed, “She’s doing things that my other kids are kind of now starting to think, ‘Well, we’ve got to start doing something because she’s got it all figured out, what she wants to do and how she wants to do it,'” he said. “And she’s doing the work.” Wahlberg humorously recounted how he called Grace at 10 a.m. one morning and found out she was already at the barn, fully engaged in her equestrian activities. “She does not mess around. If you even think about getting her there late or missing something, it’s a big problem,” he said per TODAY.

Wahlberg also shared that Grace not only resembles him physically but also mirrors his mannerisms and catchphrases. Last year, he posted a side-by-side comparison on Instagram of himself with long hair and a picture of a young Grace, highlighting their striking resemblance. In an Instagram video from April, Grace showcased her playful impression of her father, imitating him as he modeled his fitness clothing line and encouraged viewers to "stay prayed up." Mark Wahlberg's disclosure about Grace's dedication to her equestrian pursuits offers a glimpse into the strong work ethic that runs in the family. As Grace works hard to achieve her goals, she serves as an inspiration to her siblings and demonstrates the importance of pursuing one's passions with unwavering commitment.

The family recently moved to Nevada from Las Vegas and they are all loving it, said the actor. The actor revealed that the family made the move to prioritize his children. "They love Vegas," said Wahlberg, reported PEOPLE. "I spent lots of time in L.A. pursuing my interests and my career, and now it's time for them to pursue theirs." He added: "Everybody is thriving there, it's been great."
