Reese Witherspoon has experienced a lengthy career in glitzy Hollywood and has gained wisdom from some of her beauty hacks triumphing and failing. The actress discussed aging in an interview with Allure. Witherspoon revealed that her hairstylist of more than 15 years is responsible for her perfectly matched blonde hair color. The actress admitted that she visits a salon every six to eight weeks for touch-ups, having begun to develop gray hairs in the front, although she and her hairstylist refer to them as "hyper-blondes." She said, "I'm starting to get gray around the edges of my hairline. Lorri doesn't like to call them grays, though. She says they're 'hyper-blondes.'"

But the Legally Blonde actress also added that aging is something she appreciates and doesn't want to push under the rug. Witherspoon told Allure that she actually enjoys aging, and feels like she's earned her grays and fine lines. She said, "I have a point of view because I've been on this planet for 43 years, and I didn't feel that same way when I was 25. I didn't have the same things to say. I'm 43 and I've had a whole bunch of experiences, and I can speak with thoughtfulness about the changes I'd like to see in the world, and...I just feel like I earned that gray hair and my fine lines. I like them. I so prefer 43 to 25."

Along her journey, Witherspoon sure appreciates the experience of marriage. After eleven years of marriage, Witherspoon and Jim Toth's relationship has only gotten better. After divorcing her first husband, Ryan Phillippe, Witherspoon met her Toth at the age of 34. By the time she met him, she felt like she had more self-respect and understood what she wanted in a companion.

She praised her husband in her award speech when five years into their marriage, she was awarded the American Cinematheque Award for her impressive career in Hollywood, per E! News. She described Toth as "my biggest fan and my greatest champion and without whom I would never have scaled a mountain or started a new company or parented three amazing kids."

When Glamour asked Witherspoon how she thinks both she and her husband have evolved, she responded, "I was talking to my friend who's a psychologist, who says a woman's frontal cortex isn't fully developed till 25 and a man's till 28. I was almost 34 when we met; he was 39. So I wouldn't say either of us has wildly changed; I just love him more and more. I want so much for him to be happy, and he wants me to be happy. That's a big part of my day, thinking, 'Is he happy?' And for him, 'Is she happy?'"
