79-year-old Robert De Niro revealed last month that he has welcomed his seventh child. The two-time Oscar winner and his partner, martial arts instructor Tiffany Chen, welcomed Gia Virginia Chen-De Niro on April 6. The photo of De Niro's newborn daughter appeared on a CBS Mornings segment on Thursday, May 11, wearing a pink-and-white striped footed onesie in the newly released image. "Robert De Niro and his partner, that's Tiffany Chen, are over the moon about this little girl," host Gayle King said. She noted that De Niro, who is almost 80 years old, told her that "the baby was planned. [They] both wanted this baby."

The Heat actor is excited for his former co-star Al Pacino who is also set to become a dad again at 83 years old. While he did not get to congratulate Pacino personally just yet, De Niro told ET Online, "I just heard about this… [But] good for him." The 79-year-old also told The Today Show that he is "very happy" for his close friend and co-star, who is expecting his fourth child with girlfriend Noor Alfallah. "He's a few years older than me," the actor said. "God bless him." The senior dads have starred in multiple iconic films together, including The Irishman and The Godfather Part II.

The Taxi Driver star also said there is a "certain awareness" about parenting at this stage in his life. "When you're older, you have awareness of certain things in life, dynamics. Everything, family dynamics," he explained. "You can't avoid learning certain things and then how you can deal with those, manage them and this and that."

De Niro is also the father of six kids: Drena, 51, Raphael, 46, twins Julian and Aaron, 27, Elliot, 25, and Helen Grace, 11. Pacino currently has three adult children. He shares daughter Julie Marie, 33, with his ex-girlfriend and acting coach Jan Tarrant and 22-year-old twins Anton and Olivia born in 2001 with ex Beverly D'Angelo. He dated the latter from 1997 to 2003.

While De Niro's baby is said to have been planned, according to reports, Pacino didn't find out his girlfriend was expecting until two months ago but when he did, he was "shocked," per TMZ. Sources mention that Pacino demanded a DNA test, which indeed showed that he is the father. This is because Pacino reportedly had medical conditions that would typically prevent a man from getting a woman pregnant. Alfallah is now 8 months pregnant. Pacino had been quietly dating his girlfriend, who is 53 years younger than him, since the pandemic, according to reports.
