The recently turned 70 celebrity, Roseanne Barr, has been living life away from the spotlight in Hawaii with her longtime partner, Johnny Argent. The Emmy-winning comedian has given up her property in the state of California and has moved to Hawaii. The former ABC sitcom Roseanne star bought a 46-acre home with three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms which offer gorgeous views of her sprawling land in 2007, reports Closer Weekly. After moving, she sold one of her Californian homes which she purchased in 2003 for 1.17 million dollars, as per the New York Post.

While watching the sunset in April, Barr shared a stunning view of her massive property. "Gorgeous day!! Enjoy this pic!" she captioned an Instagram post of her backyard. She also showed off her garden, which is located on her sprawling grounds. "A bouquet of flowers for you," she captioned the photo. Roseanne later showed off the pretty green color she used to paint the walls while sharing a video of her beau playing the piano in their living room. In 2018, in a youtube video, she claimed her Hawaii home was previously a "museum" before she purchased it. "I think it’s time for me to start telling the story of this museum. I bought and refurbished [it], and I think I’m going to be taking pictures of it so people can see it," she shared, reports Closer Weekly.

The Hawaiian fully functional macadamia nut and livestock farm was also the setting for her unscripted reality series, premiering on Lifetime. The show followed her, her long-time boyfriend Johnny Argent, and her son Jake as they made a new life for themselves in this unusual setting, according to People. Barr's resignation came nearly three years after she became embroiled in controversy after tweeting a series of racist remarks about Barack Obama's former senior adviser, per NewYork Post.

Closer Weekly also reports Barr revealed her family grew by one when her son Jake welcomed a baby girl last year. She has been busy making memories with her grandchildren. "New g dotter," Roseanne captioned a picture of her granddaughter on Instagram. She later uploaded a photo of her eldest son and his wife as Jake held their tot in his arms. "New family," she wrote. "My son and new daughter and their gorgeous babe." Barr is a mom of five kids through different relationships. When her children became parents themselves, the former host's love for her family grew exponentially. In 2018, she posted a pic in Hawaii, which featured her boyfriend, Johnny Argent, and their grandchildren. "Love my grandkids," she wrote via hashtag. While sharing a photo of her youngest granddaughter on Instagram in July 2021, Roseanne joked her son Jake's child is her "mini-me" because they have similar personalities. "[She has the] 'my husband said he needed more space so I locked him outside' attitude," the doting grandma captioned the picture.
